We were up in Bracebridge for the Winter Whirl Figure Skating competition, and the club had reserved some rooms for all the skaters and their families at the Quality Inn. Unfortunately, by the time I confirmed our booking, the hotel was almost full ( they told me at the time of my call that only two rooms were left). Having not much of a choice left, I reserved the room: we got the king suite with a jacuzzi tub.
Although we paid premium price for the room, which I found to be really high for this type of hotel, I absolutely loved it. The sitting area had a pull-out couch which my teenage son slept on. In from of the couch was a beautiful gas fireplace, which was great for relaxing and watching TV after a cold and busy day.
In the bedroom area was a jacuzzi tub, big enough for two, a king-size bed, and a small kitchenette area with a microwave and a small fridge. The hotel is situated right on the banks of the Muskoka River, so the views from my room were very tranquil and relaxing.
In the basement was a bowling alley, games room, fitness room, sauna and swimming pool and hot tub. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and some of the upgrades were really nice. The hallways had a fresh and pleasant smell, unlike the musky smell that is typical at some quality Inns.

The customer service we received was really good, I am actually considering returning in the summer and staying in the exact same room.

All was good, no complaints, room very clean and all the amenities one needs. Overpriced for sure but I guess you are paying for the location. Lack of an elevator is difficult for older and those disabilities, so ask for ground floor ..... a room with a river view is about 10 bucks more, which after paying $160 for a view of the noisy parking lot, isn't a bad investment, especially if staying a couple of days.

Stayed just one night while travelling, not a bad location at all, about 4-5 minutes from most fast food restaurants etc. Burger/Icecream shop across the street, mini putt across the street and pool, bowling and restaurant on location. Lots of people out fishing in the river last night. Rooms aren't bad at all, much better than most of the motels/inns in the area, cool A/C, fridge, microwave coffee etc. Would stay here again next time we are through the area.

We were unsure what to expect based on reviews but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. This hotel was gem. Cleanliness was A+. The hotel amenities such as pool and games room kept the kids busy and ice cream across the roads was an added extra! I found the staff to be pleasant, our room and areas we were in was very clean. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant it was just ok, not many options for vegetarians and price was a little high on my opinion.
Overall we would stay again!

Spa was out of order. The front staff in the evening was apathetic and non-welcoming. When we called down on how to operate the remote on the TV, the same front staff were impatient and huffy. The quality of service has gone down since last year. I'm questioning whether to book ever again. For the money we paid, only one set of toiletries in the 3-person reservation. I had to ask for another set. A nuisance when you are tired from your travels.

This hotel is really poor. The rooms are extremely dated and the air conditioner rattles like an old fridge. I wasn’t impressed with the restaurant either. Painfully slow service and poor attitude from the staff.

The room was fine and the river view was lovely. However, the young man on the desk when we checked in was most unhelpful and condescending. His poor customer service and rude behavior continued during the several times that we dealt with him after checking in. In contrast, the woman on the desk the next morning was helpful and a pleasure to deal with - perhaps she could train her young colleague in the art of good customer service!
In addition, it is extremely misleading for the hotel to advertise the restaurant on their website when it is under renovation and therefore closed!!!
Probably would not stay there again.

Good size pool and nice warm hot tub. Tea and coffee in the lobby was wonderful. One staff member was very thoughtful. Other staff were not welcoming but one can be quite self-sufficient without their help.

Stayed Oct 15 for 1 night We liked it, spacious room, clean, quiet. Young person at front desk was very helpful and friendly. There was plenty of parking. Nice location, close to water ,close to downtown, restaurants, etc. What more could you ask for!

Stayed one night in August 2023. Hotel is basic, unpretentious, but has all the amenities you need for a stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There is a river right behind the hotel. We got our inflatable kayak, went up and downstream, good views, relaxing experience. Good value for money.

There is coffee in the room and at the front desk. We asked for extra for the room at the front desk and were happily accommodated.

Answer from vimal p
Bracebridge, Canada
Dear Brian, Yes we are pet friendly, however we need to know of the pet ahead of time for there is an additional cost per night for having the pet in the room. In addition, all pet friendly rooms are located on the ground floor, road view and does not include the suites. Thank you for your inquiry. Kind regards, Patricia Denbok Front Desk Agent Quality Inn Bracebridge 705.645.8775
