The rooms are a little outdated as well there are no coffee makers in the rooms. The exterior is a little rundown. The parking is fairly tight and It many amenities close by. It is a good place if you want a bed, clean washroom
And quiet enforcement sleep.

Good motel. Rooms comftrable as so for the beds. Staff were ignorant though. Room was a little dirty around the edges. Tried the Howard Jonson the next night. About the same quality, but the Stonehouse was a 1/4 the price of the HOJO's.

Staff was friendly but that was about it. The place is old, decrepit and not clean. The price was right and we were just passing through. It is conveniently located but definitely needs to be updated. Air conditioner was loud, taps banged when turned on etc.

I stayed at the Stonehouse for one night in December 2023.
Never will I again. This had to be the worst customer service experience of my life and I've work in the hospitality for over 30 years. I was quoted a room rate which taxes in was 100$ and they charged my CC 109$. Easy mistake to remedy by just issuing a refund for 9$. Think again.
I called over 12 times over the course Dec 2023 - Jan 2024 in order to speak to a manager and every single phone call was that the manager is not in or we don't know his schedule and after leaving my name and number 5 times and receiving no call back after 4 weeks the resolution was to not refund my 9$ but to say that no one quoted me at that price.
After speaking with Amandeep Bitar, Talala Bitar, Ellaine Bitar, all of whom just dismissed everything I said over and over I have come to conclusion these people don't care about their guests. Talala Bitar is listed as the manager for Stonehouse on his Linked In and told me his name was David after speaking to him. Why lie about something so small
Please support other motel business in the area as the Bitar's really dont care about their guests and will do anything to save 9$.
Overall the room was 2/10, it smelled of cigarettes and mold.
The sheets weren't clean, the heat was barely working..
This place is a disgusting.
Thanks Talal Bitar you are terrible at your job.

We stayed here, because we have a child that needed to go to iwk last minute. I paid before I got there with my cc. But because I paid early they wanted to also charge a 100 security deposit, for reasons that the front desk couldn't explain. The kicker was that I wouldn't get it back for up to 72 hours AFTER I checked out. There was a wet dirty sock left beside the bed from prior guests. Everything else was clean, but outdated. We couldn't check out and get the security deposit refunded because noone is there all night, up until 8am. We had to leave by 7am. So after we took the baby to iwk we had to go back to get it.
Lastly, the bed was TERRIBLE. The mattress was warped, and was hard as a rock. Not only was it uncomfortable but it creeked every time we moved.
159 dollars for a terrible nights stay. Never again!!!! Save yourself and steer clear.

This motel is one of the worst stays, I've ever had.
The room we stayed in smelled of cigarettes/smoke and was very musty.
The sheets weren't clean.
The only thing good was that the towels were actually new.
I would highly recommend that you don't stay here.
The workers aren't very hospitable and the manager is never on duty.

We (myself, son n his girlfriend) were not happy with this place at all. Bathroom smelt like mould, very out dated n rundown n although the room looked somewhat clean we found things from the last ppl staying here so obviously not clean! Our toilet plugged right from the get go and although we contacted the front desk no one came 2 fix it so we had no bathroom facilities for the rest of our stay. The main office doesn’t open until 10 which is ridiculous! The restaurant did not look clean n serves was poor with very little food options! We ended up at the restaurant across the street which was very good. Makes since why the price was so low … in this case u definitely get what you pay n even less! We definitely would not recommend this place.

I stayed here the in Jan 2024.
The service was very poor. I stated that my room smelled of cigarettes and that from the looks of it the room didnt look clean and they refuse to change rooms for me. The sheets were dirty and from other reviews Stonehouse Motel may have bed bugs. I should have done my research before booking a room here. To other guest thinking about staying here please save your money. They wouldn't issue me a refund.

This place was disgusting. Dirty and filthy. Torn and sticky carpet, smelly bed, dirty bathroom. It was the worse motel I have stayed in. The pictures on their website are deceiving. Here are pictures of the ‘Elegant King Bedroom’ we booked for an hiked price.

i booked a room with 2 double beds for this motel. i booked early [mar. 2005] for it being the labour day weekend. when we got there, the unpleasent man at the front desk gave us room 21. we went to this room to find that it was very small and only had one double bed!! we went back to the front desk and asked about the bed, he said in the book the person has written one double bed for 3 people.[that maks great sense] we had to stay in that room that was a flea bag of a room, it reminded me of the Bates Motel, hte bed was very uncomtrable when the sign said "we have the best beds in town." and it being the labour day weekend, we tried other hotels\motels but they were all full. my son had to sleep on the floor of the motel room because we were unable to fit a cot into the room doe to the size of the room. for 89.99 a night, we did not get what we expected. stay away from the new Bates Motel.
