We loved this spot! After travelling for a couple of days,it was nice to stay somewhere that felt so "at home". When we arrived, Blair talked with us as if we were old friends, gave us honest recommendations on where the locals eat, and really did an excellent job at making us feel welcome. When we woke up in the morning, Hellena greeted us in the morning and while she made breakfast we all chatted, again, it felt very welcoming and "at home". Our room had a private bathroom and everything was very clean, as well as the common seating area which was done up beautifully. You can tell they put a lot of time and care into not only the appearance of the B&B, but also the quality of the visits. Whenever we stay in Sydney we will be returning here!

The Dove house is a simple B and B. I had a room with a shared bath for a modest 100$. The proprietor was both friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the room spotless. The bath was shared with one other room on a small hallway. A great experience. I will stay here again and send friends their way.

Dove House is absolute heaven. Helene is a gorgeous hostess who cooks a sensational breakfast and encourages conversation with all her guests. She is friendly and very helpful. Our room wad huge and overlooked Sydney Harbour and was so beautifully appointed we didn't want to wreck the bed!! Only downside was local restaurants are scarce for dinner and close really early.

If there is a place where a person would receive any more hospitality, I am yet to find it! From the time you walk in, to the time you leave, it feels like home. The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious, and beds are extremely comfortable. You are provided all the essentials and the homemade breakfast, made to order, cannot be beat. Close to the water, the ferry, and the town, the location is perfect. Being right on the water gives you access to a beautiful view, and the sound of the water makes for incredible sleeping. Very well-maintained, you are treated like a member of the family. Would recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!
