My wife and I recently were in Valemont and had booked a night here. We must say that this place was better then expected. I would and will still there on my next trip thru the area.
Rooms were cozy and the bed was firm and very comfy. Good sized bathroom in the room with copious amounts of hot water !!
The morning breakfast was fresh fruit, freshly made muffins and all the usual b'nb refreshments.
I can not think of anything bad to say... Awesome place.

What a lovely place to stay. We needed a place to stay about half way between Edmonton and the Fraser Valley and decided on the Dream Catcher Inn. The choice was made on the basis of recommendations on TripAdvisor. We could not understand how a B and B could get that high a rating. Now we know, Doreen was a fantastic hostess, the service could not be better, the room was very clean, the place was very quiet. In the evening and in the morning we were treated to wonderful company from the other guests. To top it all of we were treated to a lovely visit on the driveway from a deer and her fawn. The fawn was darting back and forth in and out of the bushes while mother watched. This was all in all...a great experience. We hope to be back some time!

My husband and I and his parents stayed over in one of the cabins here for one night on our way upto Jasper.

We recieved a warm welcome and could not belive how nice the cabin was. The beds were comfortable and we all slept really well.

I would definatly recommend staying here and would love to go back and stay for longer.

We decided to spend one night in Dream Catcher Inn, on our journey from Edmonton to Vancouver. The host was warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and was served in a beautifully decorated room with nice views. It was a relaxing stay - exactly what we needed.

I stayed at the Dream Catcher Inn for one night in June 2015. I admit, I had a hard time finding the place but discovered that was because GPS is rather useless in Valemount. If you follow the directions they have on their website, you will find it eventually!

The Inn is bigger than it looks and has quite a few rooms. I had one on the 2nd floor with a balcony looking out front. It was rather small, but was fine for one night. It was on the expensive side, but I think this was partially due to the fact that it was the high season. I'd stay again if it were for one night, but I'm not sure it's worth staying at for an extended period of time.

I was told breakfast was served at 8am, and I was up and ready to go to the dining room at 8am, but all I found for breakfast were two pieces of white bread that could be toasted. There was literally NOTHING else! I was rather disappointed and couldn't find the owner to ask what had happened. I ended up leaving and buying something for breakfast in town.

We stayed here July 2013 - booked due to Tripadvisor reviews - for our trip through the Rockies. Doreen was fantastic - very welcoming and she upgraded us to a bigger room with my Mum in a great double adjacent. Recommendation of the Caribou Grille for dinner was spot on. Rooms were comfortable and excellent value for money (only 'very good' rating rather than 'excellent' as the hall light switch was impossible to find and getting the key in the door was kind of 'pin the tail on the donkey' in the dark. Loved the breakfast and LOVED the ancient pussycat. Popular with motorcyclists. Great place to stay. Meant to review when we got back - just doing it now as we are booking to go to Canada again but unfortunately our road trip will not take us past the Dream Catcher this time.

Perfect place to stay on a motorcycle trip through the Rockies.
Very clean, comfortable, relaxing rooms and common area.

Best B+B breakfast I think I've ever had … healthy and filling …served in
a sunny breakfast room.

We were there at the end of August , although warm during the day , we
were offered a dry sheltered place to put our motorcycles for the night, so that we
didn't have to dry them off in the morning . Just one of the ways Doreen
offered to make us comfortable … a great hostess.

If travelling alone or with a group, this would be a great place to stay, summer or winter.

I spent a quiet and sociable night at the Dream Catcher. The next morning when I went out to my motorcycle, there was a pool of gas under the bike. The petcock valve failed. They let me park in the garage, so it was a perfect place to break down. They helped with tools and hands on repair help. They helped me repair the leak within a couple hours. Of course we had to pull the gas tank and take it to a local mechanic, a very nice lady, that new what she was doing. I was 2,000 miles from home. I'm still riding towards home and no leaks. Canadian hospitality at it's best. They also serve a great breakfast, but I missed it because I was repairing the bike. Thanks for the help! No nightmares here, only friendship. Sweet Dreams.

This inn is off the beaten path with a restful landscaping. The owner/operator, Doreen, is pleasant, helpful, and totally the hostess with the mostest. Her breakfast was by far the best of the trip and the other guests were congenial as well. I most heartily recommend this inn for anyone.

Booked a room using Trip Advisor. Weeks later, the hotel cancelled our reservation because they thought we were from the US. We're not... but then we were told we couldn't stay because we are travelling with kids. Fair enough... although don't remember seeing that info on TripAdvisor (in fact, it's listed as "family friendly").

The problem is that because of the two week delay between the booking and their cancellation, we're no longer able to find a decently priced place to stay in Valemount.

The rooms may be awesome (other reviews certainly seem to indicate that) ... but customer service is pretty crappy.

Hi, I just stayed at the inn a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, no pets are permitted. The hostess is terrific and the breakfast was really good. Check out the inn's website.

Hello. Is breakfast included and is bathroom in the cabin?
Answer from srcurrie

Breakfast is included. I would think the bathroom will be in the cabin. We stayed in the house as opposed to a cabin and the bathrooms were en suite. The cabins are self contained and breakfast is served in the house.
