Canoe River Campground is the place to stop. In August, we met family from Alberta and BC. This is how we met Lorna and Heidi who kindly welcomed us to the Rodeo grounds. We were able to enjoy incredible scenery; the majestic mountains surrounded us. Sitting around the sparkling fire, we shared tales and enjoyed the star show. During the... More

Kids had a blast in play ground, seems family oriented. sites are clean, bathrooms serve their purpose. Owners/workers very nice...little general store, very good prices...Boarders on rodeo grounds that is also used for weddings ect so it gets a little loud, if you are not part of the celebrations get a site on the other side. Owners took care of... More

Campground is a bit run down since our last stay, but I do recommend the sites right along the riverside. Otherwise I think I would try somewhere else. The children's playground looks unkept, mini golf looks worn and the sites away from the river are poorly maintained it looks like. Could smell garbage from our site depending on wind direction.50... We loved spot 33 right next to the Canoe River. While there were a few mosquitos around, it wasn't too bad and the view was amazing. 30Amp charger available. Great place to walk a dog, too! Pebbled ground perfect in rain and the railway not too close. Beautiful sound of the river was more prevalent. Loved it!

We stayed here with friends from Kelowna in September 2014. Our site was huge and our hosts were very accommodating and friendly, allowing us to park a 18ft and 23ft travel trailers on the same site. Though I would not expect that again. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. No issues with after hours noise though mid September... More

We had reserved a space on the river a month in advance. When we arrived we were told the space was still occupied but should be available shortly. When I drove by the site it was clear the folks occupying the site had not intention of leaving anytime soon. I looked at various options in the park but wasn't happy... More

Off season september: very quiet on site and we were given lot 24 at the river side. A beautiful spot where we enjoyed our stay. Sun, some shade, a nice river view and a camp fire. What else do you want? Wifi was barely strong enough to reach our position, who cares.

We stayed here as a group of ATV'ers in July 2014. The sites were large and had plenty of room for our campers and our ATV trailers. Very reasonable prices. Bathrooms and showers houses were very clean and well managed. The staff and owners take allot of pride in their campground and it definately shows. We will stay here again.

The campsite is very large, and all the times that we have been there, we alway been given several different choices. Which is really nice and we can pick the spot that works best for us at the time. There is a playground right in the middle of the campsite, good for all ages, with toys for young children and... More
