A great location for touring cyclists. I camped in tall timber away from highway. Very quite and pleasant. Food service is excellent. Place your order and pick a time for pick up. Large common room extremely pleasant. A little oasis. Plenty of room for eating visiting playing games and watching TV. Also food can be ordered for early departure. It’s in the fridge with guests Name on it. There are muffins cookies and pepperoni rolls ready to go for a quick snack and plenty of ice cream. Staff members pleasant and engaging, felt like I was at home!! Campsite had good place to pitch my tent and a nice picnic table. Bathroom had abundant hot water. And a flusher. As for the downside campers appeared to have only one shower. Keep an eye on this place. As they increase their resort offering, for example planned kayak rentals and guided trips I expect the lodge to be a destination. Hope I can visit again…

My husband and I stayed at the Kasiks Resort in early August 2023. We are on a cycling trip and stayed here for one night in a campsite. The campsites are large, quiet and the facilities are very clean. We ate lunch and breakfast in the cafe. The food is delicious and the staff including Heather and Leah are so friendly and welcoming. The lodge also has rooms and a comfortable indoor lounge. If you stop here overnight or for an extended stay you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this resort.

About midway between Terrace and Rupert is where you’ll find Kasiks. We had previously stopped by for lunch but it was closed for a private event. We could see this would be a great location for weddings, family reunion, etc. We checked out the campsites and agreed we want to camp there this summer. We recently returned for lunch and it was fantastic. My partner loved his pulled pork and the burger I had was amazing - juicy, fresh, perfectly cooked - as was the service. Genuine, friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. They had a nice selection of baked goods. Definitely recommend the chocolate zucchini option! We plan to return on a weekend when they have halibut and chips.

Really fantastic service/food! Very family friendly with bouncy castles, sprinklers, little playground, tented area, with a resort and campground to stay in. Kitsumkalum owns it now and has done a really great job sprucing it up. Even a very friendly resident fox who visits! A little buggy sometimes but not too bad.
