I was in Terrace for work and luckily decided to stay at the Skeena River House. It made such a difference compared to staying at a hotel in town! Peace and quiet and the sounds of the river helped me to relax and decompress. The room was very nice and up-to-date and even had in-floor heating in the bathroom and hand-painted tiles. I hope to make it back and bring my wife and kids. Breakfast was delicious with really great coffee. Thanks Kim!!

An early morning flight necessitated an overnight stay in Terrace. After searching the net, we decided that a stay at Skeena River House would be much better than accommodation in the town itself. Good decision! Brad and Kim do everything possible to make guests feel at home. Our room was smallish but perfectly adequate and comfortable, not to mention scrupulously clean and well maintained. We spent much of our arrival day on the deck, and when it rained, in the lounge/dining area--with great views of the Skeena River. In the evening we phoned for a shared a pizza to be delivered, which we shared on the deck. For breakfast, Kim had made a note of my dietary limitations, which was much appreciated. For anyone interested in fishing, Brad can answer any questions you might have. Thanks so much Kim and Brad!

Thank you to Kim for a beautiful experience at the Skeena River House. There is a stunning view from a fabulous main room for guests. One could sit there all day and observe. Really worthwhile to be a guest here. Kim is so easy going, one doesn't feel you have to "tiptoe around" as a guest. The room was "cosy" as they say, but the bed was so comfortable and there is so much to do in Terrace, a small room is not a problem. The breakfast was healthy, which is appreciated. I appreciate how easy going and flexible and kind you are Kim.

Truly magnificent! Kim & Brad are such gracious and attentive hosts and the view of the mighty Skeena and surrounding mountains will take your breath away. The rooms are super tidy and meticulously kept, but the real stunner here is the patio - one of the nicest spots I have ever lounged in. Ever. If you are visiting Terrace, this is the place to stay!

We came across the Skeena River B&B by chance. After having trawled Terrace city center for hotels and realized that we did not want to stay at any of thes uninviting places, we googled alternatives and came across Skeena River B&B. And what a contrast! 5 minutes outside the huzzle and buzzle of Terrace city center, Skeena River B&B is there: Peacefully located alongside the river, and with a very charming host couple. The rooms are quite nice, breakfast is great, and the atmosphere in the house is likewise - a very happy place! You leave with a smile, a full stomach after breakfast, and good memories. Thanks!

Our family of four spent four night here in December 2018 while skiing at Shames Mountain Co-Op. Brad was an excellent host with tons of local knowledge and tales to tell. The river beavers kept us entertained over breakfast and Brad's flexibility kept us comfortably housed as we changed our plans day to day.

Skeena River House was absolutely delightful! From the engaging hosts and stunning views, to the excellent breakfasts and deep sleeps, my 4-night stay was divine. I greatly appreciated Kim and Brad's hospitality, fabulous stories, and openness to make me feel right at home. Kim's cooking is nutritious and delicious with homemade breads, fresh eggs, fruits and veggies, and a lot of TLC. I found the bed wonderfully comfy and had such good sleeps, I would wake up at 6:30 refreshed and assuming I had missed my alarm (not often that I sleep through without an interruption!). I look forward to my next visit - I hope to make more use of the outside patio and take the views of the mighty Skeena. Many thanks Kim and Brad :)

Alas, our visit to Skeena River House was too short but very sweet. Kim and Brad were warm hosts and our cozy room was a relief after a long day in the road. We arrived after dark and didn’t get a full appreciation of the beauty all around us until the morning. Absolutely stunning location right on the river! We enjoyed excellent coffee and quiet conversation the morning we sadly had to continue on our way home. We are definitely going to visit again, this time with more time to do some outdoor exploring!

This was the perfect place for our mother/daughter roadtrip! Kim and Brad are so friendly and the food was amazing! We normally don't sleep well out of our own beds but we slept like babies here. We stayed in a 2 bed room which was small but perfect for our 4 day stay. I would definitely come back and I do recommend staying here. Gorgeous views too :)

We stayed for 2 nights in the King suite. It was nice and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great too. Very nice owners and we enjoyed chatting with them. They were able to accommodate a vegan/GF breakfast! The views of the river and deck can't be beat.
