Very noisy, the rooms need to be updated badly, the bathroom smelled like mold … the list goes on. It was possibly the worst bed I’ve ever slept on - or tried to sleep on. I wish Expedia would stop listing places like this. Honestly if it was the last room available I’d sleep in my pickup. Definitely not returning and definitely no recommending The bathtub had an old dirty rubber mat glued to the bottom so a shower was the only option….. don’t waste your hard earned money on this place.
We arrivid quiet late but the front desk was super helpful and friendly. We received a complementary hand sanitizer. The room was very clean and smell very nice the room was spotless, looks that they are doing a great job with Covid because they had postings every where. We never have a bad stayed here before, but this time we were so happy because it was quiet and the next day we got to use the pool once again very well taking care of and they had rules which was axpected so over all it was a great stay. We are always happy to stay here.
First stop driving from Gibsons to Whitehorse. Check-in was quick with a very friendly and helpful clerk, who later quickly provided me with a second blanket. Room was very large and scrupulously clean. As per another reviewer there was no clock-radio. Very bizarre as I am sure these are dirt cheap when bought in bulk and relatively important to a traveller. Bed was comfortable but the pillows weren’t. Rest was quiet even though it was a Saturday night and my room was on the road side. Lastly the price was great for a tourist town. I would readily stay here again.
IT took more than normal to check in (multiple other check-ins, customers had problem with their access cards,…) We asked for quite area, but the room was facing the highway and noisy even with windows closed. Bad pillows and not comfortable beds made it worse to sleep at night. There was no room service /cleanup available due to Covid (although most of restrictions are lifted and even staff not wearing masks) we were out of supplies with kids and had to go to reception to take the supplies on second day; we got some but for some stuff we were referred to a person in same floor who was cleaning the rooms (not there to help) or to the coffee maker in reception area that was out of supplies... Put the garbage bin and used towels at the door as requested (around 2pm) but they were not removed / cleaned until next day after we checked out. We had much better experience in other hotels during the Covid peaks. Our door access keys stopped working on second day like the other customer we saw at check-in time (was told that maybe the previous receptionist entered a wrong check out date). Last summer we stayed there for one night in a room not facing the highway and had better experience, but I do not think we will try this hotel for the 3rd time.…
What a mess!!! After 3 confirmation emails and phone calls to the staff regarding my booking for a team that would be staying at this hotel we arrived to find out that they had over booked and 6 of my teammates did not have the suite they were promised, The staff worked hard to find us a room I was told that I would only be charge for the 5 rooms that they did have. Great! They gave us a room with 1 cot and a queen to fit 6 girls in only to find out that they charged me $170.00 for this room when I was told there would be no charge. The Manager then blamed me for the booking saying I had made an error, I emailed and text the confirmation of 6 rooms including 2 suites. She then told me I was threatening her when I said I would leave a bad review. So I guess here is my threat. Please dont stay here if you wish to have a good experience or want clean rooms. The pool was disgusting the hot Tub looked like pigs bathed in it. WHAT A JOKE …
