A well run property just off the Trans Canada in quaint Salmon Arm. Neat, tidy and clean with super friendly and professional front desk staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. When we are back this way again, this Fairfield will be on our preferred overnight accommodation list.

My wife and I stayed here overnight on our way to Calgary in June. Clean modern hotel. Beds were comfortable. Large bathroom and importantly the tub has a non slip surface. We had a lovely view from our room. No safe in the room. There is a no charge buffet breakfast which was ok, nothing special. If passing through Salmon Arm in the future would probably stay here.

We stayed here to break up our road trip home. The hotel from first impression was that it was cleanly, staff was accommodating & friendly, it was quiet and not busy at all. They have ample parking, even charging poles for EV cars. If you have a Tesla, there is a specific charging station for 2 cars. Parking is free. They has a good selection of breakfast buffet items and bonus, it’s complimentary. The only complaint we had was that the hot tub was out of service and by no fault of their own. Seeing that it is a small town and it was a Sunday they probably didn’t have same day service to fix it. It just sucked to not be able to soak in a hot tub to relax after a long drive. Otherwise everything else was great. Keep in mind the pool is open from 8am to 10pm but the slide shuts down at 9pm. We wished had arrived earlier and not on a Sunday, as there were a lot of shops and places we wanted to explore in the area. Majority of restaurants and shops were closed on a Sunday. But they have a farmer’s market, but that was only from 9am-1pm on Sundays. There was also a waterfront pier that we wanted to check out and enjoy, but couldn’t because of our arrival time. We will definitely be back next time & will plan accordingly. Perfect for families!

Room Tip: Bring your EV plug-in if you don’t own a Tesla. There are lamp posts w/plugs in each of them....

The hotel appeared to be fairly new. It was nothing fancy, but it was clean. The desk staff were friendly and gave us a list of local restaurants they recommend. What they neglected to say was the majority of them are closed on Sunday & being it was Mother's Day the few that were open needed reservations. That being said, it was a decent hotel for a one night stay. The breakfast was typical Fairfield breakfast, but they did serve a good coffee.

We were on a road trip in the summer and was trying to find a place to stay last min. We found the Fairfield in Salmon Arm, we booked online through their website. Super easy and a really good rate for last min. On arrival we met some of the nicest staff who was so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We were heading to a birthday party and had a slide (in a box) in the car they offered to store in a storage room for us. We declined because we did not want to be a pain especially how we were leaving early. This hotel is in a wonderful location right off the highway. They have lots of amenities, a full gym, free breakfast starting at 6:30am, indoor pool & hot hub. There was no restaurant on site but they did have a spot you could get beverages and snacks for a small fee. This hotel is beautiful it seemed brand new and was extremely clean. We ended up with a 2 queen room. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and I have spine problems. I slept like a baby. Wifi was really good for being a hotel, my spouse managed to work for a few hours with no issues. The bathroom was large enough room for 2 people to get ready at the same time without bothering each other. AC worked very well. Honestly, I wish I could have had another night here. Next time we are passing through I will be booking here again!

Nice new hotel by the highway and walkable distance to the pier and restaurants. A family of four plus baby we stayed on the third floor for two nights and were quite comfortable. The room was quiet and beds were comfortable. We found the customer service to be excellent - we need a few extra towels and blankets and staff were quick to help us out. One morning we were early birds for the coffee, but the staff made sure we had access and were smiling and cheerful. I would stay here again

For a newer global hotel, I expected more. The room was plain, nothing special at all. The floors and walls seem to be pretty thin as all I heard all night were the herds of cattle above me. Breakfast was lame. The same powdered eggs, greasy fatty sausages, make your own waffles, dry muffins, etc..over the three days we stayed there. But the thing that was the worst, was that you had to sign up to become a member just to get free wifi. Every other hotel offers it without strings attached. They must be desperate to push this policy. Won’t do this again.

We stayed for two nights in an obviously new Hotel--but who cares about new when there is ZERO regard for Customer service. We both have Titanium Status with Marriott and so I asked if there was any breakfast offered for Elite members. The Check-in Agent says "there's Breakfast right over there--doesn't matter who you are" And jerked his thumb over his shoulder. I asked if we could get an upgraded room--He says "it's the long weekend--and looked at me like I had just fell off the Turnip truck. I then asked if we could get a late check out because of my arm burns it takes a while to dress them each day. He says "what time?' 2:00 pm please No I can only do 1:00pm-It's the long weekend" I said yes but the long weekend will be over when we checkout". He says "that's all I can do". Ok then . When we got to our room there was no water bottles and the outside temp at that time was 36',so I went down and asked a different Agent if we could have a couple bottles of water ,in his defence he was just about to point over and say yes when a different Agent looked over his shoulder and said "Check and see if they took the 1000 points" He then says "you took the 1000 points so you have to pay for water" I said really? REALLY? And said no thanks I'll drive downtown and buy my @#$%& water. These people, starting with the Manager should drive one hour back to Kamloops and take a lesson in CUSTOMER SERVICE from the DELTA Hotel there. We had just spent the previous night there and the difference is in my review of that hotel. We like everybody who eventually gains ELITE Status earned it by spending our money but mark my words it will not be at this hotel. And please do not reply with your standard form letter. i don't want to read it. Instead--train your Staff.

Staying here for 2 nights. Overpaying by far 476$/ night. Room 613 feels like a jail with no natural lights. Hotel parking lot is empty, so obviously low capacity. Our room was boiling upon arrival as they had stopped the AC. You need to call 2-3 times front desk to get them to turn on the slide at the pool or bring towels…. Obviously cheaping out. Parking lot view all around. This hotel doesn’t recognize Marriott Status - Gold in my case. Check in agent had no customer service skills whatsoever and couldn’t tell me the reason why we were not eligible for a better room, Although he said he has better rooms but would need to charge us extra. Whats the idea behind a reward system??? Next time, just say you dont care. Saves a lot of time. Will definitely avoid staying here in the future. I stay in Fairfield often and this is not to standards at all. The one in Kamloops is way ahead in Quality. Very disappointed with the disregard to our loyalty. So many beautiful options in Salmon Arm. Book wisely and avoid to be let down.
