We had a lovely Christmas Day stay at the Harbourfront Resort. We had also booked a dinner at the restaurant connected with the Resort. It was a grave disappointment. We ordered what was billed as a Classic Turkey Dinner. We cannot prove it but is seemed more like duck to us. No white meat, and no cranberry sauce as advertised. Would never come here again to eat. Sad.
We signed our contract for our wedding back in 2017 planning an extended engagement for our wedding date April 23 2020.... I know.... 36 days before we were to come from Cranbrook to Salmon Arm (the place we first met) we went into lockdown. Not only did the hotel arrange a quick elopement in June as things opened back up, but they honoured our contract until orders lifted and we were able to have our "big wedding"💜. We. Held. Out!! 5 WHOLE YEARS!!!! They (the hotel, Jessica, Christie and the poor front desk staff🤣 and Manager) held my hand through the entire thing. This past weekend we were FINALLY able to have our BIG WEDDING!!!!!! The Prestige calmed every nerve and delivered our dream wedding. Our elopement space was in front of the grand fireplace and the " big wedding" ceremony was out in the back patio, overlooking the lake. It was gorgeous. The ballroom is MORE than enough space with a large, comfortable dance floor. Don Cherry's was insanely accommodating for our crazy karaoke night on Friday and new Chef and his team delivered the most DELICIOUS MEAL!!!! Everyone is still talking about it 🤣🤣 With a MULTITUDE of beautiful grounds and landmarks, there were PLENTY of photo ops a few steps away. The pool, hot tub and arcade were a huge hit by both our kid and adult guests and we never left the grounds (except for a quick wedding supply run) as everything we needed for rest, work, play and fabulous dining was all right there. It was an absolute pleasure to work and be supported by this entire team over the last 5 years. Thank you is not even close to enough for how much I appreciate everyone involved in giving us our dream weekend. With love and MUCH thankfulness, Rachel and Steve Hamner💙💗 …
Your hotel friendly service and accommodation turned a stressful situation of being stuck behind a road closure on Christmas Eve into a memorable Christmas experience for my family. The restaurant was also very friendly service and great food - especially the breakfast.
Extremely disappointing stay for almost $400/night. I would have provided a 2 Star Review if Management was respectable enough to deal with their client complaints, but unfortunately, after saying she would "look into it", I never heard back from the Manager again, even after multiple attempts to follow up with her. Dirty room & corridors, broken elevator, over-priced, and overall is majorly due for a renovation for this price point. I've waited 3 months to write this review because it was THAT disappointing. We're happy to pay a higher room rate, but we expect the service that comes with the price. I recommend finding somewhere else to stay until reno's are hopefully completed in the future - especially on their summer prices!
I stayed one evening at this. Location was awesome. I stayed at prestige in Vernon that was nowhere near as nice and the staff was nowhere near as good. My experience at Salmon arm prestige was very good, and I would definitely go back
I was a part of a group that stayed at the Prestige Harbourfront on Thursday September 15th. Upon arrival, the rooms were all ready and the check in process was simple. I had to call ahead to have one person arrive early, and the front desk staff was incredibly understanding and helpful to our group to accommodate that request. The hotel is located right on the water, but close to downtown and everything you may need. We appreciated the overnight stay!
BEAUTIFUL place -- the hotel, the lakefront view with nearby walking, bike riding paths, the incredible Salmon Arm wharf, the outdoor hot tub, the bikes&helmets available for guests to use (free of charge)
Travelling back to Vancouver from Calgary. Excellent front desk staff. Very clean. We travel with a small dog and they are pet friendly. Found the room rate very reasonable. Beds were very comfortable . Nineteen05 Kitchen and Raw Bar was outstanding. Best dinner we have had in a long time. Highly recommend this resort
Getaway for anniversary with husband to relive our honeymoon 50 years ago! We spent the first night in Salmon Arm and had a super time and the weather was also superb! We walked the conservation trail along the lakeside and it was so pretty!
We were a family and had a few rooms. The ones on the ground floor with the patio were definitely the best. You could sit outside and enjoy the view. Upstairs some of the rooms were worn . The staff was very friendly.
