We stayed in a kitchenette on the ground floor and it wasn’t very nice. There was mold growing on the shower curtain - probably because there was no extraction fan in the bathroom - it was a swamp. I made the mistake of looking at the filters in the wall mounted heater - it had not been cleaned in a very long time :( The vertical blinds on the window were broken :( I expect you could do better for $100. I would avoid the kitchenette unit - it had some mystery odours too.

I'll admit we stayed here on a whim, as we we usually stay at another hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised! Its a great place with a convenient location. Although winter, the pool also looks great! Friendly staff.

The Hilltop Inn is the best hotel I've been to in a very long time. We stopped there for one night on a two day road trip to visit relatives and were so impressed we also booked the same hotel on our way back. Normally we'd stay in a different town on the return trip. All staff were super helpful, courteous, and friendly. The clerk after seeing the size of our family upgraded us to a king room which was extremely appreciated. The room was gorgeous, large and very clean. The kids were super excited to have their own king sized bed. The complimentary breakfast was quite good, and I was surprised at the options available when compared to other complimentary breakfasts I've been offered before. Highly recommend. This hotel has become my got to for when we are out this way

My Sister, Mom and I stayed here in June 2020 to celebrate my Mom's 81st Birthday. Before arrival, I requested front desk to do something in the room to surprise my mom upon arrival, they were not able to do it due to Covid so in return they upgraded us to a suite off the pool. That was so kind and generous of them and was much appreciated. It was the most amazing stay ever right from the check in by Wade, he was a great Front Desk Clerk, 10/10 stars for him! The suite was beautiful, the pool was absolutely breathtaking and incredible!! It was a HUGE bonus to just walk out our room right to the pool. We did feel truly like we were in a tropical resort in Mexico. We had a menu to chose from for Breaky (free btw) with limited options but still excellent choices. The service and food was outstanding and TONS of it. We had a full breaky, Bacon/eggs/toast/hashbrowns,and Pancakes and fruit. It was 5 Star forsure. I have wanted to stay here for years, but never had an opportunity until this past summer. I will DEFINATELY be back and highly recommend. June was the perfect month for it was still offseason, reasonable price and less busy in the pool area. After our stay there, I told my friends about it and they went and stayed for their wedding anniversary and loved it just as much as we did. Thank you again for making my Mom's 81st Birthday a beautiful, memorable experience and for the top notch service all around :)

We were driving back from Yoho National Park and was wondering whether we should spend a night in Sicamous or Salmon Arm before heading to Kelowna. We ended up staying here because of the pictures we saw and good reviews of this hotel. We didn't regret! As it was the month of August, we knew that there would be many young children at the pool therefore we didn't book a room by the poolside and we ended up not using the pool too because of too many young children and very noisy! It was still CoVid so we wanted to keep the social distancing as well. We had a nice big room overlooking the highway and Shuswap Lake and was quiet. We enjoyed the night stay and the breakfast which we could eat in the restaurant but the food was a bit cold. We needed a kettle to boil water for our tea and could borrow one from the front desk. Would really recommend this superb hotel to everyone!
