Pool is the best part. Parking lot was awkward and the steps were broken. Spiders everywhere around our door on our outdoor entrance to the room. Gaps around the A/C so bugs can crawl in overnight. Also we left a few things (expensive things) in our room when we checked out despite having staff check the room before we left. When I asked them to mail me my belongings they told me they threw them out already. Despicable and unprofessional. Won’t be back to this hotel and do not recommend.
If I could I would give it 0 stars. We checked in we went to our room and the moment we walked in I was so disappointed and scared to sit on anything as it was filthy and unwelcoming. This is not a hotel! Our table had not been wiped there was blood or wine stains all over it and pieces of tissues. The carpets has large stains everywhere, the ac has so much dirt/dust on it. The bed I didn’t even want to check when I saw that it was much smaller then the slats. The slats that were showing on the side of the bed looked like they were never vacuumed or cleaned there was a collection of filth on it. Disgusting. It was so uncomfortable we actually went to the front desk left and asked for a refund within 5minutes of checking in. This was supposed to be a stop just for the night before we went back to Alberta. It was so gross we chose to leave and do the 7 hour drive straight during the night rather then staying there. I did t even take pictures as I just wanted to get out of there.…
I stayed in the Inn section. The room was quiet and clean. The carpet is probably due for a clean after the summer rush. Could use another lamp in the room but there is lots of window light. The breakfast was great and more than we expected! Enjoyed the pool. It was the right temperature and in a pretty setting. Would definitely come back.
Rooms we quite dirty and dark. Absolutely nowhere to put anything in the bathroom or shower. Bath towels were not much larger than the size of hand towels. Our daughter enjoyed the pool but it was not as nice as in the photos and quite crowded. The screen in our room was half ripped off so room had lots of bugs The AC was very very loud and when we turned it off to be able to sleep there was a banging in the walls all night long that kept us up. We mentioned it upon checkout and it was brushed off with a shrug as “someone had a hot shower and it was the pipes”. So I said All night??? Hmmm. Maybe this hotel needs some work then? Breakfast was disgusting Way over priced. Will not return or recommend this hotel to others
Filty disgusting gross accommodations horrendous customer service outrageously priced for the condition of their hotel. The young boys who are cleaning the rooms clearly have no idea what their doing it also is bug infested just an overall horrible experience would never recommend this hotel
Wasn’t Sure what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised. Family friendly and the pool was a delight! 35 degrees outside, we checked in—front desk friendly and knowledgeable—then headed to the pool. The organic shape of the pool allows for quiet spots. Hot tub was lovely. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family suite. Perfect for my sister and I.
We spent most of our time in the great pool, which seems clean and well maintained (but the pool change area is gross). Our room however was a disappointment. Not clean. Toilet was dirty and shower was moldy. Walls covered in shiny clear handprints. Carpets not vaccummed .Made me wonder about the sheets ?? Clearly no "enhanced cleaning" for covid at this hotel.
We used this hotel as it was pet friendly. We required only a night stay while passing through Salmon Arm. The room was average, however the plumbing in the bathroom was horrible, and unclean. Guess we should have been happy the sink actually worked. The toilet leaked from the base and we had to constantly mop up water with towels, the shower did not work as there was no pressure and the shower curtain had black mold along the bottom. We left very early to get out of that place. Extremely disappointed with the room rate we paid (over $200.00 per night). The bedding was clean. Will never stay at this hotel ever again and have already started passing the word around as we have many friends travelling to BC this summer.
We could not even stay the night a month and so ago as so darn dirty and underkept with management and owners caring zero here! Was so darn loud above us too and had to leave before staying for the night which was planned to do so. All this time gone now and no response by the owners and no reply to the review I made! What does that truly say about this awful hotel and their uncaring owners and management team? I was not offered anything for not even being able to stay the night cause of the terrible conditions. All I got was ZERO reply and one fat ignore! Paid in full to not even stay there! It used to be great I was told before changing their name and all the pics were from years past! Shy away from here, shy FAR away!
Overnight stay to break our journey from Vancouver to Banff. Good size room with two queen size beds. Big bathroom with two head shower. Breakfast had a good selection. Swimming pool a very interesting shape and was well maintained. Only two small issues. One was the distance from the township but was aware of this when booking. The other was the highway traffic noise. You could not leave the window open at night for fresh air because of the noise, especially as the location was on the highway hill. Staff were very friendly. Parking was easy. Great for a one night stay.
