Detailed Reviews
Rooms are huge, which is great for a week long family trip. We have 3 teenage boys and in most single hotel rooms we run out of square footage, especially with wet ski gear, which you’ll have in Revelstoke.
Kitchen well equipped and very useful. Comfy beds, clean beddings. As almost everybody in the place was either skiing or sledding, these rooms could use a clothing/boots/helmet rack in the entrance (there’s plenty of room) although the hooks over the fan in the bedroom are a nice touch and very useful. Clean, renovated, good location, quality breakfast (no hot eggs/bacon but everything else in great supply and good condition). One drawback on the last night, the room next door held a big party (guessing 6-10 people) and were yelling and screaming up to 4am, and the employee told us there was nothing he could do about it. Never seen that in a hotel. Outdoor hot tub wasn’t working (was way too cold and not clean), indoor one was great, but very busy so understandably hard to keep clean water. Overall a satisfying stay, aside from the last evening.

Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We are happy to hear that overall your stay was a satisfying one. And we are very sorry that our night staff didn't help you to quiet down the noises from your neighbor. I will address the issue to our night staff and make sure this won't happen again. For hot tub water, we do frequently change the water but every time when we change water, it will need 2-3 hours to be heated up. Sorry for the situation. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to seeing you again.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable pillows but hard beds! Continental breakfast was no big deal during Covid; the hotel should just reduce our rates instead. They allowed our small dog for 20 which was nice. Internet was good.

Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to provide us a review. We are glad to hear that you liked the room you stayed. And for your concern about the summer price, we will take it into our consideration. We actually already reduced price comparing the summer price of previous years. We appreciate your stay and your feedback. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Revelstoke Days Inn is not a new property. It is a little bit 'old' but don't let that stop you from staying there. The room / bathrooms are big. Everything worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The carpark is large / free and has 2 EV recharging bays. Views of the surrounding mountain are great. Although close to hwy 1, it was quiet and walking distance to the centre of Revelstoke. Breakfast was a bit better than what was expected (Very good continental). The price was quite reasonable and reflected the property / service provided well.

Sorry this is long but I find that these reviews do help people that have never been to the places before...
My husband and I have been coming to Revy for snowmobile trips for many years now, and this is always our go to place. Always clean, friendly staff, huge lit up safe and secure parking area just outside your rooms(+with security cameras). Laundry machines available if needed (coin operated) Location is great: Gas station and food places within a block of walking distance. Not far from downtown, 10 minute walk back to the hotel if you have a few drinks downtown. I have a home gym so to keep with routine I have always really enjoy the gym there which is a very huge bonus of staying there, unfortunately with Covid it is unavailable which I was really sad about. Normally there is a full nice breakfast spread out in the morning, but with Covid breakfast is now a pre bagged pick up set up which included: A muffin, an apple, juice box, granola bar, and a banana. Obviously totally understandable with what’s happening in the world right now this is what is needed to be done currently. Hopefully when things get back to “normal” it will go back to the full breakfast set up as it is quite enjoyable. We have stayed here at least 20+ different occasions (all winter trips, but one summer one) and I would highly recommend it 100% for sure. Not sure why anybody would say it’s not clean or give it anything less than a 4+ rating. For staying as many times as we have we have never once had any unfriendly staff, or an unclean stay or really any issues.

We just stayed overnight on our way from Drumheller to Vancouver. It was quiet, the rooms were clean and comfortable, plus they did have a pet-friendly room for our helper and the dog. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was thoughtfully set out, with some items already packed in a bag, and fresh fruit, yogurt, breakfast burritos and many different beverage options were available. I had lost the plug-in for my computer and they quickly provided a loaner. Will definitely stay here on future trips.

We were not expecting to have to stay over in Revy, but the weather had decided for us. Alot of people I assume were in this position, as there were not many options to choose from. We called to book with Daysinn. They lady on the phone booked us (we told her multiple times we had a pet and she said yes this is pet friendly, the cost will be 180$) we got to the hotel, yes it was pet friendly but the pet charge was added on top of this which we were not told about.
The location is very convenient, next to the highway, Starbucks and or Tim Hortons and gas stations. The view from the parking lot was pretty as well.
The front desk staff were not the most friendly. We finally got into our room and the bathtub was gross, and there were previous guests underwear, socks, clothes etc still in the bedroom (GROSS).
Breakfast, for the normal person would have been okay. Dry cereal, bagels, toast, juice and coffee. For anyone with a food allergy, no luck. All I was able to eat was an apple and grab a banana for the road.
Great way to spend a birthday...........

I am sorry to hear that your recent stay with us was not a pleasant one. Sounds like front desk checked you into a room which was not completely done yet. I hope they changed you another room right away. For a pet friendly room, we do have a $20 extra charge, and this part of extra charge was never included into the room charge. When you book with our front desk staff we could clearly let you know but when you book with a 3rd party agency, there was probably misunderstanding between guests and the agent. We are sorry about the inconvenience caused by that. You are right that we only have a free continental breakfast included, no hot items unfortunately. Thank you for your stay and we appreciate your feedback.

We were passing through the area and had to stop because it was dark and the smoke was so thick We stayed here on Aug 12 and stayed in room 214
We arrived around 10 pm to be greeted by an amazing employee who was super nice and kind. She was very informative and talked about her son who is fighting the wild fires.
The beds were comfy
The room was in need of repair and pay almost $200 for a night this hotel is not worth the price.
The room is in need of repairs. See photos The main concern was the ripped carpet in the entrance. My little one tripped over it and fell and banged his head on the carpet
The bagged breakfast was good

For a modest traveller, this motel was ideal. Service was very friendly and helpful. My suite was spacious, clean, and very quite. The room included coffee maker, microwave, cable TV (Telus), and bar fridge/freezer (which was in good working condition). Bathroom toiletries were provided and blow dryer. Also included was complementary Continental Breakfast which included hard boiled eggs, porridge, bagels and toast, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, muffins, juices, and coffee/tea and hot chocolate. The hostess was very friendly and kind, and kept the whole area immaculate.

Horrible hotel since they changed to Northwinds. No room cleaning at all during a 5 night stay. They mentioned nothing of taking out the hot tubs when we booked. They no longer have garbage cans outside and have taken the continental breakfast out and now charge more than the Days Inn charged. Will never stay here again.

Kind and accessible staff. They also allowed me to use a separate hotel room for a virtual meeting I was leading which was very much appreciated. We have stayed in this hotel twice now in the last 6 months during regular trips between Calgary and Kelowna.

No dog kennels (never seen a hotel with kennels) but there are lots of rooms with outside entrances so you do not have to take your dog through a lobby. a good dog walk area at the back of the building that goes along the train tracks through a slightly wooded area, and a great leash free park by the river park (about five minutes away by car) The river was running pretty fast and deep when we went there, so we were watching our dog pretty carefully - I have a feeling that if the dog went in the water, that would be the last we would see of the pup.
Hi Candace. I only stayed there rhe once but it appears the whole motel has been refurbished. I would phone them and directly ask them that question to make sure. I have phoned a couple of hotels in the past and asked the specific question. They have been honest in answering. Hope this helps.
