Our family was disappointed by our stay. Amenity availability in particular. We stayed 2 nights and each night were left without pool towels, and an empty soap dispenser at the "rinse" shower at the pool. Coffee was also not readily available on Saturday. When I inquired about pool towels the front desk agent was quite rude in telling me to use towels from our room. We did this as instructed, which as a result the towels then had no hope of drying in our bathroom overnight to re-use again for showers. I'd also like to mention upon checkin, we opened the door and our room was dark, curtains were completely drawn - if this is policy it is not a great way to enter a hotel room. open the blinds to reveal the layout of the room and all it has to offer. I was working remotely this weekend for the Chamber of Commerce and was denied a government rate for a policy stating only weekdays are allocated to this rate. We will not be staying here again.

I should mention that the breakfast staff, cleanliness and variety of food was great for our family 2/2 mornings. Thanks to them for lightening an otherwise drab hotel experience.

We choose a nicer room with the private jetted tub and fireplace. These ammenities were GREAT and the room was huge. Breakfast was good. We were a little surprised that in covid times they had the silverware so that everyone would reach into the same bin to get their forks/knives/spoons. It just seemed like an oversight. The room was great, but with all that square footage there were only 2 drawers and one modest rack to hang clothes on, the the little drawers in the nightstands. There were tons of spaces that could have been used for a dresser or adding hooks or shelves to the wall. The front desk was helpful. We used the onsite laundry and were able to get Canadian coins from the front desk. We never used the pool/hottub because we had our own private tub in our room. Even though we could see the train tracks, the noise from the trains was minimal-no worries there. Parking was a bit tight because piles of snow took up some of the spots. The location was fine as the only places we went were the grocery store and to the ski resort.

We are Wyndham Diamond members and with a simple request for a room upgrade we went from a standard king to the king suite with jacuzzi and fireplace with no extra charge. What an excellent perk, and granted it is based on availability and we were in the offseason, but they didn't hesitate when asked and it was hassle free.

Room was very clean, fridge, jacuzzi, tv, everything worked properly.
Complimentary breakfast was simple but well stocked.
Check in was a breeze and done in just a minute or so.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

We would highly recommend and stay here again.

The checkin staff and other staff were delightful. Friendly and efficient. It was also clean and had a guest laundry, great pool area and a nice sitting area with magazines and water. Breakfast included.
The room itself was also spacious with a couch, large tv, microwave, safe, coffee machine and bar refrigerator. Plenty of towels.
But you won’t sleep. We had a room directly facing the traffic lights on Highway 1. On the map, it looks like you are a block back from the road, but it turns out to be a service road to fast food restaurants. Major freight train line at the back. The rooms have no soundproofing, so every truck (and they are constant) plus noise from people in other rooms, and the car park under your window, was right there with you. And it’s loud.
Sadly, simply cannot recommend because in the end, getting a reasonable nights sleep is what you pay for.

Hotel was reasonably new and clean- but it was clear that some corners cut in construction. There was literally no soundproofing between rooms and one could hear noise and footsteps from the rooms above almost constantly. We weren’t bothered by the trains outside but the lack of soundproofing was obvious and annoying. The rooms are basic, clean but cheaply outfitted. Not even a decent closet- just an open rack with a couple hangers. Toiletries provided were so minute as to be hilarious- never have I seen a shard of bath soap so small. The bed was however extremely comfortable which is why I give the place three stars. Staff were welcoming too but I wouldn’t return.

Very clean, free parking. One night stay whilst on road trip. The free breakfast was a bonus, not just continental, cooked as well as a waffle machine. Staff friendly. Went for a nice walk in the evening and found the park and walk part way round the wood yard, then through the middle of it, the smell of the wood was amazing.

Fantastic hotel. It is so hard to find a hotel that will accommodate a family larger than 4. This hotel has a 2 queen room that allows 5. We walked into the hotel and the manager right away counted us and said, "give them a free upgrade to a larger room." Instant 5 star review. Beyond that, great pool, hot tub, breakfast. We travel through the Rockies 1-2 times per year and are always looking for a hotel to stop at - now the decision is easy.

I booked this hotel for 1 night on my way to Kelowna. It was booked through hotels.com as a dog friendly hotel. We drove for close to 10 hours and arrived around 9:30 pm ready to go to bed and get up to continue driving the next morning. I checked in, got the keys while my husband unloaded the vehicle. On our way in they stopped us as we had a dog and apparently the hotel wasn’t dog friendly, except for service dogs.

While I understand the rules, it was booked as a dog friendly reservation. It was 9:30 pm and I had a 6 month old baby with me. They wouldn’t make an exception and while the front desk guy was friendly the lady was less than kind. She turned her nose up at us and implied that because we had a dog we had to take a crappy hotel instead. While service dogs are allowed they absolutely wouldn’t make an exception even though we had paid a large amount of money to be there for less than 12 hours with a well behaved lab.

We ended up being finding a nicer hotel to stay at last minute for less money and I wish I had booked this one sooner. It would have been nice had they shown some compassion instead of turning us away so late at night. They did refund the money but that doesn’t change the fact it ruined the night, caused a cranky baby and very tired and stressed out parents trying to find a suitable place to stay with a dog and baby at 9:30 at night.

I will avoid this chain from now on due to the lack of hospitality and compassion.

Stayed in a two bed room recently for a rate $25 less than BW+ across the street. A good value for a comparable room. The room is typical for brand name chains and well appointed with room safe, fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TV and other similar amenities. The hotel is fairly new and everything was in very good condition. Reception and check-in was friendly and helpful and explained any limitations on services and breakfast options because of Covid-19.
The beds were a very nice surprise. Very comfortable.
