We only stayed one night at this wonderful B&B and didn't know what to expect at first.

Based on the reviews here, we were rather relaxed that this might be a good place and my preceding e-mail communication with the owner also put me at ease.

The B&B is owned and managed by Kirk and his beautiful Golden Retriever (a real princess). We stayed in the Winter room which was really spacious and nicely decorated with a clean and modern bathroom (loved the shower). There is also a shared sitting area but as we were the only guests for this night, we basically had a one bedroom suite.

There is satellite HDTV in the room, a complimentary wine, a hot tub, lots of reading material, etc. Kirk recommended a good and funny place to eat for dinner in Revelstoke and generally made us feel really welcome. He is very knowledgeable, funny, relaxed and overall great person who really put a lot of effort into this wonderful guesthouse.

Breakfast was a treat with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and everything else we craved for including a very good homemade granola. It was difficult to part from the B&B and especially the freshly bathed dog.

Would definitely go their again. Thanks for the great stay Kirk!

This B&B is a find!It is pure luxury on a small scale. Our room had a huge king size bed; TV; DVD player, radio, CD and they had a half bottle of wine in the room which was a lovely touch. The couch chairs are lazy boys as well! The place is spotless from top to finish and even the ensuite has underfloor heating. What more could you want! Our room opened out onto a terrace and there is a heated jacuzzi outside in the tranquil garden. All this is before the very warm welcome you receive and they are so helpful with advice re eating out etc. Breakfast was lovely and if that isn't enough, you might be lucky enough to be drawn in to a game of throwing the ball for the adorable gentle retriever "Avi" who nudges it down the stairs for you to throw back up to her....and she can do this game for hours!! Just lovely!!

Our stay with Kirk and mum was really fantastic! Their hospitality and helpfulnes couldn't be better! The flat was spacious, clean, pretty, quiet and safe. Close to both nature- and mountain-activities and town. Every morning, a delicious breakfast was served in "our" kitchen. We would highly recommend to stay in this place, both summer and winter! We'll be back!
Love from Kjetil and Monika

Aloha!

We stayed the at the Adventurer's Guest House this summer and we were overwhelmed with the hospitality and the new, renovated amenities. Amazing food, can't wait to come back during ski season and see what the fireplace & hot tub are all about :) 5 stars on cleanliness, location & comfort. A huge mahalo to Kirk & Megan for making our stay so enjoyable!

Megan and Kirk were fantastic. They made us feel at home instantly and were genuinely 2 lovely people. They gave us their time to discuss the area, activities to do and where to go. They provided us with loads of leaflets and maps so we wouldn't get lost or bored. The rooms and shared areas were immaculate and homely. The breakfasts were fantastic, fresh and made from scratch every morning. If I was ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to book again. The only Bad thing about The Adventurers Guest House is that we could only stay 4 night...I wish we could have stayed longer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Adventurers. We chose the B & B because it was "mountain-biking friendly" and were also pleased to learn that well-behaved dogs were welcome. The "Winter" room was lovely, the hot-tub clean and clear, and we had a lovely breakfast, with the offer of some cooked food (eggs) to accompany our breakfast. The accommodations are perfect for two (compatible) couples, a family or a group of singles. We received detailed descriptions and maps of the best places to mountain-bike, personalized for our level of riding. And after some hard riding, enjoyed the hot-tub and fixing our own meal at "home" (which we prefer over eating out). It was all good, great in fact.

We had a great two day ski vacation in Revelstoke and stayed at the AGH. Kirk, Meagan and Avi are amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. We started each day off with a hearty and healthy breakfast, skied all day and came back to relax in the hot tub and sleep in a really comfortable king size bed. We loved it there and will recommend to family and friends. The accommodations were spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the hot tub under the stars was the best. Kirk is also very knowledgeable with the area, skiing, biking and snowmobiling. We will be back!
