We stayed here for three nights on our way home from the West Coast to Edmonton. We had previously stayed here and posted a glowing review. Nothing has changed. This property is as amazing as ever. The first time we were here, we all said "Wow" when we checked into our 1 bedroom suite. We walked in this time and said "Wow" again when we discovered we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. We thought the one room was the master bedroom - it had it's own huge bathroom (with tub and shower), king bed and tv. Nope - that was the second room. The master bedroom was huge with a small sitting area, a closet you could sleep in and it's own full bathroom. Did we mention the heated floors? We faced the pool last time and faced the front road this time. It was definitely quieter being away from the pool but noisy during the day thanks to the construction across the street. The mountain views were just as nice though. The beds were super comfortable and the whole living space was fabulous. The only downside to our particular suite was it was very dark at night. I don't know if someone took a lamp or what but it could have used one or two more lights in the living area.

If you like to cook, you will love the kitchen. High end Miele appliances and everything you needed to make a good meal. We had just come from another hotel that had a pitiful kitchen so a fully stocked kitchen was a very welcome treat.

The pool and hot tubs were just as I remembered them - fabulous. And warm - really warm. Normally you freeze going from the hot tub to the pool. Not here!!

The activities were just as good. Our kid enjoyed the Aerial Park. The Pipe Coaster gets really really busy (which is probably why they are building a second one) and just walking around the area is nice. We had breakfast in the village once - it was ok. Every other meal was in our kitchen because why wouldn't you?

This is still a fabulous property and one of my favourites. I really look forward to next time.

It's a COVID summer and we needed a break. My daughter and I wanted a getaway that offered good hiking options. Revelstoke proved to be an excellent location for this. We were delighted with our 1 bedroom suite at the Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Our suite was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen with 2 burner cooktop, fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The balcony offered pleasant outdoor seating with a table and 4 chairs. The suite was stocked with ample supplies including detergent for a 5 night stay. The in suite washer and dryer was most welcome when having hiked several hours in the rain we arrived back with wet clothing. There hotel has established a very good COVID cleaning protocol with ample hand sanitizing stations and physical distancing markers. The hotel location at the base of the mountain is very nice and only a 15 minute drive into town. The Rockford Bar/Grill was open offering both take out and dine in so we did not feel the need to venture into town after a day of hiking. We saw many families with children and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel should you chose to visit the friendly city of Revelstoke. Mt Revelstoke National Park is beautiful offering great hiking options. You can spend a day just hiking the side trails that take off from the 25km road to the top. The best trails are at the top where Mother Nature has created the most spectacular garden of wildflowers in August. Glacier National Park hiking trails are less than an hours drive away. The Alsulkan Valley is beautiful with glacier views and waterfalls. You feel as if you have entered a special place. At the resort take the gondola up and hike the Stoke Climb. The views from the top are worth the effort. There you will also will find some friendly chip monks begging to share your trail mix lunch

I stayed here for 5 nights in July, and I loved it! I'd stayed here once before last year in September, and had a good experience so I was stoked to come back for a bit longer.

I had a room facing the pool which was a bit noisy at times, but it also meant I had a view of Mount Begbie straight out the balcony door so I could deal with the pool for a few hours a day.

There were some things that I'd expect to be better for a luxury-style resort, in regards to Covid I didn't see anyone cleaning elevators once the whole time I was there (not that I was going in and out a ton, but you'd expect to see someone at least once or twice if they were doing it regularly), and in the room the TV in the bedroom didn't have a signal and there was no rod on one of the blinds in the living room so you couldn't adjust it. There also seemed to be a ton of TV channels but none of them were actually decent or your standard channels.

But other than that I had a really good stay. I booked a 1 bedroom unit and I think I got upgraded to the 1 bed + den (even though I didn't need it). Super spacious, really comfy beds, loved having a balcony + views too.

Dear Sianricho, Thank you for your positive review and feedback of The Sutton Place Hotel, Revelstoke. We will be sure to have a look at the television in your suite and the missing rod on the blinds; thank you for raising that. Our entire team, including every department of the hotel, is regularly trying to stay on top of sanitizing all high touch areas. I am sorry this wasn't abundantly visible throughout your stay. We are taking our Covid measures incredibly seriously and your review is a great demonstration of the importance of regular and thorough cleaning. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to being able to welcome you back to Sutton Revelstoke again soon! Thank you again and stay safe, Rupert Harper General Manager

This is a top-notch property that offers spectacular views of the mountains. From reception to checkout the service was attentive and helpful. I visited just as the resort was reopening during the pandemic and the staff were very conscientious about disinfecting surfaces in public places and maintaining social distancing. All in all I would highly recommend the property, particularly if you can find a discounted room rate.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Sutton Place. It is worth the expense. Not having to walk in/out your car in the morning and the afternoon, especially with the parking lots so muddy was well appreciated. Plus, it is convenient if members in your group/couple/family want to stop earlier. They can just go back to the suite and relax and the ones that want to stick longer on the slopes don’t feel pressure to stop. The suite is very comfortable with nice comfortable furniture and the kitchen well equipped even though we had supper only once but all of our breakfasts there during our stay. I want to mention that the hotel was understanding that we had to leave 1 day earlier because of a emergency back home. They reimbursed the complete fee even if I didn’t expect one with no arguments whatsoever. Thanks Gabe!
Definitely will choose that hotel when we go back.

I have stayed here in the summer and now the winter. Beautiful hotel with condo style rooms, lovely balconies where in the summer we ate daily, and this winter enjoyed the New Year’s Eve fireworks. Underground heated parking and lovely heated outdoor pool and hot tubs. I’ve stayed in and recommend the two bedroom suite and the one bedroom suite with den. This last time I stayed in a one bedroom suite and can say with the couch being used as a bed (it’s a sleeper sofa) the room felt tiny. For whatever reason the sink in the one bedroom suite is the size of a minibar sink. That makes it hard to wash your dishes. The shower in the one bedroom suite was also so small I continually brushed the lever on the faucet and got a cold or hot surprise. None of these are issues with the larger rooms. My only other gripe was that there really is no ski valet. I lugged my skis from the second floor (where the slopes are) to the first floor where the ski locker was in the parking garage. Not a big deal, but it wasn’t the most convenient arrangement. Maybe that would have been different in another building? At any rate, for the convenience of staying slope side, the price (at least when comparing to Whistler), you have to love this place.

Good Day SeattleDoc2010, It's a pleasure to read your review of your stay this New Years. We appreciate the thorough feedback and are happy to hear you enjoyed our amenities, including the underground parking and our pool / hot tub features. I appreciate your comments regarding our One Bedroom Suite, it is most ideal for couples or a family travelling with smaller children. The couch does pull out to a queen-sized sofa-bed, which can take up space in the living room if you are wanting to watch TV. Please never hesitate to contact front desk to send a team to fold away the bed when you are awake for the day! It would be our pleasure to ensure the most comfortable stay possible. We don't offer ski valet at the moment but I will raise this in our management meeting to better improve for next season! It is different for each building for our ski lockers. We hope to welcome you back again soon for some epic pow time. Kind Regards, Naomi Morgan Front Office Manager

Beautiful room. Modern well stocked kitchen. Lots of space.
Place was not cleaned all that well and given the very high nightly rate in summer, I found that unusual: such as previous clients clothes under the beds, used towels in the curtains, used robe in the closet.
Check in was easy and was handled with good Covid precautions.
Parking was easy to access.
Roadworks being done right beneath our condo so not as peaceful as I would have hoped.

We spent one night at the hotel and originally were not pleased with our room in Building 3 as with two younger kids, it overlooked the bar/restaurant and we were worried about noise. However even though they were very busy, we were impressed that the reception team managed to move us straight away to a beautiful room on the 8th floor of building 2 with a balcony which we loved and could easily have stayed in for a week. Gold star for customer service and the bell boys who helped us with our luggage!

We had a great nights sleep in a very comfy bed and a tasty breakfast the following morning and were in the perfect spot to be first in line for the mountain coaster before 9.

The hotel is a 5 minute drive into Revelstoke and not walkable, but well worth it to be waking up on the mountainside on a morning having been into town for dinner the previous evening. I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a well priced hotel in Revelstoke.

Long drive from Banff to Revelstoke so we were slightly gutted when we drove up to the hotel to find it surrounded by building sites, however once in our room we found ourselves in very comfortable well equipped accommodation. Combination oven, small stove, coffee maker and well equipped kitchen. Bed comfy and seating area. Used the gym and outside pool. All but one restaurant was closed as off season but we had a meal in the restaurant that was open and this was tasty and enjoyable. Breakfast we was told had to be collected from reception in a meal box. Disappointed in this as not great quality, breakfast roll that you self heat up and yoghurt and fruit juice but only in one box.

We booked this as the location as a break traveling to Calgary and it was awesome and the price was unbeatable. Although the resort was in off-season mode (only one restaurant/bar was open) the food was good and peace and quiet was extraordinary. We were upgraded to a 1 Bedroom suite. Signage to the hotel could be better in the last 1km we would stay here again
