The Grizz Hotel opened in September 2019, in that time it has undergone renovations both inside and out. All the rooms were renovated at the start of 2020 including new bathrooms. We now also serve the Wing n' it franchise in both our onsite pub (the Last Drop pub) as well as our restaurant, where hotel guests can enjoy a 15% discount on food. Rooms come with a fridge, cable TV, air conditioning and WiFi access. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available anytime in the lobby. The Grizz Hotel is situated in downtown Revelstoke just a few minute walk away from many different restaurants, cafes and stores and also a short walk away from the Colombia River Greenbelt. We offer competitive rates and look forward to welcoming you in the near future.

It’s an off-beat hotel that kind of reflects Revelstoke’s diversity. A distinct shout out to the many ethnicities that comprise Revy’s history. The furniture, furnishings are simply off-beat. But, the beds are super comfortable and pillows are perfect.

The Grizz Hotel has clearly seen better days. The rooms are a generous size but very "tired", whereas the bathrooms have obviously been refurbished recently and look clean and tidy. The main issue is noise - from anyone moving in the corridor as it has old linoleum over squeaky floorboards, or from outside in the late evening when it seemed that the carpark was a social meeting area!. Breakfast - don't waste your time or money!.

Positive - Friendly staff & nicely renovated bathrooms. Negatives - The deadbolt lock did not close properly, the bathroom door could not be closed, but the worst was the squeaky floors, especially the ceiling floors of the 1st floor that awakened us many times during the night. 1st floor is a clear no no, I have no clue of the 2nd.

The outside and reception were not very welcoming. However, our room was clean and had a huge, comfy bed, a fridge and a lovely bathroom and shower. The breakfast was poor - cold, hard boiled eggs, toast, cereal and yogurt. The man cleaning the tables was friendly but not all the reception staff were. Great location for Revelstoke town, which is a great place to visit.

All this considered you would expect to see a price that’s reflective. NOPE. We paid 240/CAN, which was ridiculous and a reflection of greedy owners capitalizing when people have to book there as a last resort because all the decent hotels get booked first.

The hotel was located in the center of the town, which made it convenient to go out and explore. The hotel itself was a refurbished old hotel, and the renovation was done beautifully. I loved the composite flooring and the shower. Additionally, the room had no peculiar odors. However, the breakfast was quite simple, and even the milk was finished, so they were unable to provide any. I hope they can improve this aspect in the future.

Bleh. Place is outdated, worn, has a funky smell, breakfast was terrible. Website was totally misleading. Communication with front desk was inconsistent. Only redeeming quality is the proximity to town. Not impressed at all spend the extra few bucks and stay somewhere better.

We stayed at The Grizz and were very disappointed, the hotel room itself was clean and staff were friendly. The issues started around 1 AM, we stayed on 2nd floor as a few reviews said first floor was noisy however the party crowd rolled into the stairwell next to our room. It was so loud I couldn’t even drown it out with the TV. My wife decided to get up and phone the front desk, problem no phone in room, also the wifi was generating a whopping .88 mpbs so internet was useless. We managed to bang on door of stairwell and things did calm down. We woke up early and my wife went to blow dry hair in bathroom but there is not any plugs there either. I usually write positive reviews but after this experience I would not recommend staying here.

I believe this hotel was an old school. The rooms are done us nicely with the renovations but no carpet even in hallways so noise does carry. They have a restaurant and bar attached that offers 15% off your food bill. Good location to everything and staff are friendly. No house keeping except on request.
