Where do I start? Our family needed a room in Revelstoke for a soccer tournament that my daughter was in. Upon booking this was one of the only places left in Revelstoke and I would say on the cheaper end, mind you my entire bill for two nights still came to $461 an absolute and complete rip off for the amount of money paid and what was presented.

Upon entering the room there was an extremely strong smell and I couldn't even put my finger on what it would be. It was a bit of mustiness and also a bit of a urine smell and just kind of a gross overall smell. My kids are young and commented on it when we entered the room and they usually don't notice that type of thing. When I'm paying almost $500 for a couple of nights at a hotel I don't expect stains on the carpet and all over the couch but there was. The beds were nicely made and I would say overall they were comfortable to sleep in.

The best way to describe this hotel would have been lipstick on a pig. Parts of it had been renovated. The walls desperately need painting. The baseboard registers were disgusting and it looked like they had possibly dried up splatter from food and hair on them. Upon a really quick glance it looked clean but when we started unpacking and looking around the room it jyst got worse. The oven, it did not work. This thing was straight out of the 70s I'm sure (I'm not fussy about how old the appliances are as long as they work ) The oven wouldn't even turn on. We were reimbursed for a small part of this because we had bought supper that needed to be cooked in the oven. I did ask for another room but they were completely booked up and had no extras. So super frustrating that we were trying to save some money and not eat out and we actually couldn't do that.
The bathroom was updated but not the tub. Just a super cheap Reno. And again, I don't mind staying in an older motel if I know what to expect and I'm not paying out the a** for it. I'd read other reviews and they seemed not too bad. We were in unit 30 and maybe that one is just one of the worst ones.

Breakfast was not included as the cut off for summer was 2 days previous so we missed out on that, again, not the end of the world, but when you're paying this amount of money for one night, we're kind of hoping we could save a bit of money in that area.

I will add that the lady at the front counter was very friendly and felt really bad when her oven didn't work and I asked if she had any other options.

I will never ever stay here again. A completely overpriced dingy place that's not worth the price.

The building exterior needs an update but the room (king bed) was large, clean and recently painted. Nice to have a window that opens both in main room and bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of choice compared to most budget options. The cost was also a good value compared to economy motels in other BC cities,

The hotel itself was fine, however we were in room 59 and they had two of the grossest chairs I have ever seen in my life. They were the first thing you saw when you walked in and at one time, I think they were red but are now covered with so many stains and who knows what sort of fluids produced those stains.
It was really off putting and painted a negative picture on the entire room but everything else was clean. I have no idea why on earth they would keep those chairs in the room, we didn't touch them at all and i can't imagine anyone else would.
The stairwell to get to the room also needs a thorough vacuum and steam clean, maybe some air freshener.
Aside from the nastiest chairs and the dismal stairwell, the room was clean and the location is easy to walk to town from.
They have also set their hotel up so it's very Covid Friendly and they have provided a lot of information about how your stay will work and the changes they've made to make sure everyone feels safe.

4 of us on a ski trip, didn't want the cheapest, but one with kitchen amenities. The toaster, microwave, kettle and coffee maker did the trick to get us out the door in the morning. Comfortable beds, book the hot tub in advance since COVID. Not fancy, but clean, good amenities, and family run.

Sadly the family room is in need of a make over. The futon was not made into a proper couch and was exceedingly lumpy. When the A/C was on the water ran down the back of the person under it. The dishes were dirty in the cupboards, fortunately we had been camping so I had plates for everyone. It was fine but with 4 beds and a futon there should have been enough chairs for everyone to sit at the table and the living room. It just needs a good fix up and it will be a great room to stay in.

Typical room for a hotel. Clean. The usual amenities, like coffee maker in the room. We got there at 11 am and they let us check in early which we really appreciated. Woman in office is a genius, using a clothesline to send papers back to you to sign!

Stayed one night with my family. Except for loud airconditioner noise the room looks newly renovated and clean. Beds and pillows were clean and comportable. Call the hotel directly to avail of extra discount for seniors. Price is reasonable including light breakfast. Will stay agin in the future.

This was the best budget motel on our Rocky Mountain road trip. It was clean, adequately furnished, easy parking, staff were helpful. Nothing fancy but it is value for money and easy walking to all of Revelstokes shopping and restaurants. I’d recommend it as a budget option in Revelstoke.
