We stayed two nights in a very well equipped, comfortable room. Location is ideal and the breakfast was good. What made the hotel so much better, was the terrific service, advice and approach from Donna on the front desk. Nothing was any trouble and you were always met with a smile and friendly words. The bar area was really good and we ate there one evening, which was very nice. We really liked Revelstoke, so would recommend a stop in this hotel, to anyone doing a road trip through the Rockies.
Great location in town and great pub. Room very spacious and comfortable. But very noisy. Train whistles and signals every 2 hours throughout night. A/C rattles when it comes on. Can't sleep with window open due to train noise. Do not recommend it if you intend to sleep. .
We had the pleasure of staying at the Regent Hotel in Revelstoke. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, Snow, who was most helpful. This is a lovely hotel with its own personality, wood, stained glass and oozing charm. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, complete with jacuzzi bath. We ate at the bar which was reasonably priced and tasty. We had a cooked breakfast in the morning which was also tasty. We have no problem in recommending this hotel to anyone in that area.
Nice place, friendly staff but if you want a quiet sleep and not hear music at the other end of the hotel, then don't stay here. Staff assured me it would be quiet, however you can hear the music right through the premises.
The Regent exceeded our expectations. The beds were super comfortable, so comfy that we inspected them to see what kind they were. The breakfast that was included was delicious. Not just continental style but they actually cooked us up some eggs, sausage and hash browns. Would definitely stay again at The Regent. The location was perfect for walking the whole downtown core.
April 202 We stayed twice in one week at the Regent Hotel in Revelstoke. The Hotel has beautiful old charm and sophistication. I loved all the woodwork and stained glass in the hotel. We ate twice at the Pub; it has a plentiful menu, resonable prices, good food and service. Our first room was spacious and comfortable. Our second room was outstanding. It was newly renovated and did not lack any comforts. What impressed me most about the hotel was Donna at the reception desk. She seemed legitimately concerned about our experience at the hotel, wished us a good trip, and was looking forward to seeing us upon our return. When we did return a few days later, she not only remembered us but addressed us by our names. We were early but she checked if the room was ready and immediately checked us in. She gave us info about the hotel and we chatted about the surroundings. She had a genuine disposition about herself. I found her to be an exemplary employee. Henrietta Switzeny…
If you’re a vegetarian, don’t bother. There’s no wiggle room for substitutions or add ons. The kitchen boys in the back must not be able to keep up (with three tables in the restaurant already served) and had a tempter-tantrum to the servers requesting no menu changes. Cool guys. Be better.
Love the location of the hotel, the exterior appearance gives you a very quaint vibe. Inside was good, clean but not too spacious. Staff were friendly. Our room was alright, so-so cleanliness, furnitures were okay (our bed makes a creaking sound and the kids did not like it. Lol). Windows need cleaning. :D Also found two lovely visitors during our stay. (See attached photo). Overall, it was an okay stay. I’ll come back if there’s a good deal. Otherwise, I’ll find someplace else to stay.
For a hotel with a check in time 1 hour later usual than any other hotel chain, they also have an unusual 1 hour early check out time. Front desk staff was extremely unpleasant in helping us and wouldn't let us check in 1.5 hours before. I will NOT be back that's for sure.
Stayed here in room 224 Sept. 9th based upon the great reviews. Our room had excellent beds, impressive furniture, excellent TV and a large bathroom which was well lit with modern fixtures and a great shower. The room was quiet, we couldn't here any other guests. There were 2 problems though. The room had no mini-fridge which is essential in any hotel. There was the ability to bring your refrigerated items down to the front desk and they would store them in their larger fridge and bring them up to your room as you request them. Really !! What a waste of every ones time. And lastly we unfortunately found 2 very large insects of some sort hanging on the bathroom door at different times. We would love to say we would return because it's an excellent hotel but no fridge and large insects are probably a deal breaker.…
