We had a very comfortable stay here at Canyon Motor Inn. The place is a little bit older. However, it's convenient with a lot of restaurants close by, gas station, and access to the ski hill was quick and easy. The owners were also extremely nice and helpful with providing directions. They also have complimentary passes to the Aquatic center... More

This motel as a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We found it very reasonably priced and got exactly what we needed. If you get a room in the front you my find it a bit noisy due to street and train tracks.

Don't know what I was thinking when I booked this hotel. Oh, yah, we might be travelling with dogs. Poor choice, bad mistake. We had a room downstairs which smelled as soon as I walked in. Was it body odour, urine or a combination of both? We arrived late at night and there was really no where else to go... More

this is an old building and it's tired. However, it's close to Denny's, MacDonalds, and Tim Hortons so it's not all bad. Staff was helpful and friendly. The price is high for what you get, so it's not good value. The A/C seemed to have trouble keeping up, scary to think what it would have been like if it was... More

I've stayed here before and it was a nice stay but this time I couldn't sleep at all bed was hard as a rock front desk lady was nice enough to give us another room but our friends were allready sleeping so we couldn't just get up and go to another room so my husband slept on the floor and... More

Typical older roadside motel. We were in back unit and road noise was not an issue. Room was clean, and had what we needed, including hair dryer, micro, and frig. Outside flower beds if better maintained would be a nicer touch. Shower had super pressure...felt great. Bed was very comfortable. Only thing wrong was the sink water hot/cold was reversed.

I read the reviews before we got here and have to disagree with most. Yes the motel was quiet but after a long day with the kids that was perfect. The rooms were clean and the beds were decent. The owners were also very nice.

Pros: complimentary juice and granola bar, large rooms, quiet. Cons: away from town adjacent to highway, a little run down, too quiet... does anyone stay here? They try to be a hotel but still has the motel feel. But the price is pretty good so one shouldn't complain too much. Don't know about the restaurant... it never seems open.

My son and I stayed one night on the way to Vancouver, and one night on the way back to Calgary. The rooms we had were spacious and straightforward, comfortable beds and quiet. The place is simple, clean, very well priced, and the managers are very friendly and helpful. Just the place to stay on a road trip when all... More

Read the good reviews and decided to give it a try because of the good ratings. What a mistake as this is the oldest and most depressing hotel I have ever stayed in. Was feeling very unsafe until some bikers that were individual riders looking for a place to stay rode in. They made me feel better about it. I... More
