Mustang Bed & Breakfast is a unique heritage home perfectly situated in the heart of Revelstoke's downtown heritage district. Take a brief stroll into town, enjoy a refreshing beverage at one of Revelstoke's unique pubs or grab a bite at any of the amazing restaurants on offer. In Summer, free live music is performed every night at the Grizzly Plaza. Sit back, relax and enjoy the music while gazing at the glorious mountains surrounding the town. In Winter, come experience amazing powder conditions at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the most vertical in North America. Just a couple of the many reasons to visit Revelstoke!
Beautiful heritage home with so many antique features! We were the unfortunate couple who got the nonfunctioning window a/c in our room! Temps were in the 30’s so very uncomfortable to sleep, very disappointing as we checked to make sure it had a/c. We did receive a 10% discount due to that fact, so just depends how much you value cool to sleep. The breakfasts were top notch! Could not ask for better! The ensuite did not have a stand up shower just a handheld wand in a tub. Hostess was pleasant and friendly.

It's not only a beautiful heritage house but the staff were so friendly. The breakfasts in the morning where delicious and presented very nicely. It is also within walking distance of downtown. We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again!

The house is steeped in history and Andres, our host treated us to a warm welcome and a smattering of details about the house, the town and things to see and do. As this monumental home was built in 1897, the floors, walls and everything else creaked and groaned with age. Many of the original details are still to be seen. Sam, the chef provided a wonderful breakfast and the coffee woke you up in a very nice way! Spent the latter part of the evening in the lounge in front of a roaring fire in the hearth. Worth the visit!!

This 1897 home, built by miner Charles Holten for his bride, makes a lovely place to stay while you explore in and around Revelstoke. Its charm and warmth, restored during a 1990s award-winning reno, is only eclipsed by that of its friendly, accommodating manager, Andres, who even loaned us his Parks Canada pass for a trip up Mt. Revelstoke. We stayed in the Royal Suite, a large room with ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was a deliciously different gourmet treat every morning, whether served in the dining room or on the verandah. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had planned to spend the night at the Holden Heritage House in Revelstoke en route to our final destination in Vancouver. We had booked one of the rooms one month in advance of our arrival date. However due to the extreme forest fire situation in the interior of British Columbia, we decided to postpone our vacation until September. We contacted Holden House 72 hours in advance to cancel our reservation but we’re told cancellations must be made two weeks prior to scheduled arrival date. We explained that BC Tourism were asking that all planned non essential hotel usage be reconsidered in order for the possible need to accommodate local residents’ who were being evacuated and may require hotels themselves. The telephone receptionist was very inflexible and initially stated they would only refund us $100.00 of our $170.00 pre-paid deposit. Later that day we were further informed that the Holden House would not be refunding any of the deposit & would retain the entire $170.00 amount. In times of the recent Delta variant Covid resurgence plus the sudden unpredictable nature of the extreme forest fires in the region, a cancellation notice of two weeks seems exceptionally unreasonable. Our hotel reservations in Vancouver were cancelled with no problem whatsoever & the receptionists were very polite & actually thanked us for our consideration towards BC residents that may have to flee their homes. Holden Heritage House could learn a lesson about true hospitality from their competition. I cannot recommend this business to any of my fellow travelers. They are not at all flexible. 0 stars!…

It’s a really old place. If you don’t like this you should reconsider if you’re planning on booking here. I guess one could say it has character but You have to scale back your expectations with regards to normal comforts a little bit. The breakfast is amazing indeed but it has to happen at exactly 8:30 AM. At checkout you have to leave at 10 AM and there’s also a little room for negotiation. We were kicked out at 10:15 after spending 3 nights here. What didn’t help was that on the first day we were planning to take it easy and sit on the veranda or in the backyard which was spoiled by a very noisy Christmas light installation. I don’t think I will come back.

We ended up in revelstoke because our van died and it was the best worst thing to happen to us because we found this gem of a B&B! Dean and Kathleen were fantastic hosts (and so was Stella!) and helped us navigate finding a new vehicle so we could continue on our way! They were very knowledgeable about the area, guided us to some great local places for dinner and lunch, and the breakfasts Dean made were A-MAZ-ING! He was able to work around my gluten intolerance and still make the most amazing food ever! The house is also absolutely beautiful and has a great history, documented by Kathleen in an orange binder available to read through, and Dean has amazing stories to tell as well! Overall an absolutely fantastic place to stay and we absolutely plan on staying again next time we need to pass through the mountains!…

Beautiful heritage house with gourmet breakfasts and wonderful hosts who told marvelous stories. Our van totally died on the way to Vancouver and Dean and Kathleen helped us get another vehicle so that we could continue on our holiday. We will absolutely stay there again.

My wife Shelley and our dog Ben and I met up with my oldest brother Dave, his wife Cheryl and their two kids Klee and Kevan for a one week stay at Holten Heritage House Bed & Breakfast and we all enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing stay. The Revelstoke area has so much to do and so much to see for those who are oriented towards the outdoors that we very easily kept ourselves busy and we all felt spiritually refreshed by the end of the week. Our half of the family stayed in the Sunrise Room where we enjoyed seven nights of restful sleeps in a very comfortable bed that was actually two double beds made up as one. My wife and I both enjoyed the tub and shower, although you do have to be just slightly athletic to be able to get into it over the side of the tub. Dean and Kathleen and their gentle, sweet dog Stella were gracious, diligent and fun hosts and had numerous suggestions for things to see and do. I don’t normally consider myself to be a big breakfast eater but the breakfasts here were varied and always memorable. The pet friendly nature of Holten Heritage House Bed & Breakfast was most definitely a selling point for us, and our dog Ben very quickly adapted to his temporary environment. Highly recommended!…

What a great place to stay. We were welcomed into Kathleen and Dean’s home like family and really enjoyed the stay in this beautiful heritage building. Warm and cozy in the depth of winter. The best breakfast ever with great food and company. Highly recommended.
