Had an awesome time staying in their beautiful 'Boulder Suite'. The staff was incredibly helpful with places to hit up in Revi and in making my stay a comfortable one (I had a broken arm and they happily helped me with my excess of luggage). Would recommend to anyone !!
We stayed here for a couple of nights and the campsite is very nice, really nice cabins and RV areas. We spent our time tenting and they have a really nice area in the trees which is secluded and they provide wheelbarrows for you to get your stuff around. Excellent amenities here with hot showers, laundry and a hot tub and only a short drive away from town. Only reason why I marked this place down was the noise. This can not be helped with the location of the camp being between the railway and highway so it can get extremely noisy especially if you are in a tent. They do explain this when checking in and provide ear plugs to try help them light sleepers but unfortunately it is too loud and can not be avoided. Other than that it is a great place with friendly staff.
We had such a good time at Boulder Mountain resort! We stayed in a glamping tent and it was so cozy! The staff were amazing to deal with and we felt super safe (COVID wise). It’s also close to Revy but far enough out that you see all the stars. Would recommend.
This recently updated RV resort has many good features like new washrooms, tent sites, luxury yurts, fenced in dog run, and large play area for the kids. There is a large check in area to park your RV but not big enough for larger trailers. You'll need to take up 2 spaces at check in. The internal roads are wide enough for any size trailer. Another unfortunate drawback is that there is no left or right turn lane off of the very busy trans-canada hwy. You'll must likely hold up or block traffic which leads to the biggest drawback- the traffic noise. The traffic is almost nonstop during the day and most of the night. The main vehicles flying down the road are large big rigs that do not heed the rule of no engine breaks. Our site was very sloped. Had to use double the normal blocks on one side to make it barely level. At least satellite reception was doable. This is a very nice campground but unfortunately the truck noise just trumps all that niceness. We camped at Boulder Mountain Resort (formerly Canada West RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.…
The main office was welcoming & tastefully designed. All the staff we met were helpful & friendly. We stayed in a pull-through, full service site which was easy for us first-timers. All of those sites are pretty flat & easy to access. The RV sites each have a few trees but are not very private. The cabins on the way in looked cosy. The forested area for tenting is really beautiful with unique fire pits that look like large lanterns. Showers & flush toilets were clean & well-maintained. But the noise! Maybe we’re just super-light sleepers but between the highway & the train it was difficult to get a decent rest. Earplugs helped a little. Didn’t bother our kids at all & if you’re in a bigger RV maybe you wouldn’t hear it. Would stay again for a night but not longer purely due to the noise. …
