Last minute emergency 1 night stay in Revelstoke. Swiss Chalet Motel and Motel 6 were the cheapest last minute motels available, and I chose Swiss Chalet. Linda did a great job checking us in late at night. Teresa (sp?) was super helpful the next day to help us get back on the road back to Vancouver. Room was clean and looked updated. Breakfast bag was a nice touch. This is a very well managed property. A few minor negatives, which really didn't bother us since we only needed a place to sleep for 1 night. Motel is on a busy street and across from train track. Small fridge in room also had a humming sound so I unplugged power for the night and replugged it in the morning.
The Swiss Chalet is a clean and comfortable gem in Revelstoke. I recently left my iPad by accident and the owner and staff ensured its return to me. Special thanks to Teresa! Best to book directly with the motel since it is is easy to mixup with a far inferior motel around the corner.
This property is doing everything right! There are bulk dispensers in the showers, low-water toilets, recycling bins in the room. So super eco-friendly. The brekky bags are nice (feel free to mix up the options for those of us staying longer) though I'd like to see them get back to in-person options soon, the all day and evening drink station was appreciated, and the room was great. A staff member accidentally double-charged me for the Expedia room, but we straightened it out. Great value for the money in a super location in a charming town. I'll be back!
Fantastic place the rooms are small but the staff are great and the rooms are sparkling clean. Also the beds are super comfy. Also they give a nice breakfast bag for the morning and free drinks hot and cold all day. I’ll definitely be back since this place was awesome and right in town.
This is a very old property. There has been renovations but its still a dumpy place. Bathroom extremely small. Stayed in "deluxe" queen which is apparently the larger room. Cant imagine any smaller and I've stayed in businessman hotel in Japan. That was the smallest actual room ever until this. Swiss Chalet was small, dank with a little window that looked into some run down house next doors yard. Water pressure was very low. vinyl plank floors were quite dirty. Thankfully this was a one night stop.
