When we checked in, the owners told us they "knew" we wouldn't want the room that was booked (as it didn't have a shower) so they were putting us in a larger, and more expensive cabin. We asked to see both and found the bathroom in the $150/nt. cabin consisted of a toilet in a closet so small that you... More

Loved the feel of a non corporate hot springs resort. Great family owned business. I'd pick canyon over any of the corporate sterile resort atmosphere places that seem to dominate these days. Stayed in one of the camping cabins on a bicycle trip. It was exactly what we were looking for. An affordable clean, warm, dry roof over our head.... More

Was excited to go, however the woman's washroom smelled moldy and musty that I did not feel comfortable putting my stuff down. The lockers and showers where filthy. However my son's experience was even worse as there where a pile of cigarette buts on the floor, And the bathroom had feces all over the bathroom. Staff did refund us but... More

Shrinking operation time by increasing rates is not working for your customers. If your competitors can operate year round, why can't you Canyon Hotsprings?!?! While comparing Canyon Hotsprings to it's competitors, Nakusp, Halcyon, and Radium. Canyon is run very poorly. I will return to Canyon when there is a new owner who takes pride working in the service industry and... More

Stayed here in July on our way to Okanagan, we stayed in the honeymoon lodge which was fab, lots of space and well equipped with everything we needed. It was very hot, 38 when we were there and no air con and would have been nice to have some plug in fans. The breakfast in the morning was great and... More

We were looking for a spot to stay one night between Lake Louise and Vernon and Canyon Hot Springs was perfect for us. We were worried about finding a spot large enough for our 33 foot RV but we had no trouble - the sites were roomy with lots of green space and trees. We did have to pay extra... More

We recently stayed at The Canyon Hot Springs Resort and rented 2 log cabins, one for my fiance and I, and another for my daughter, son-in-law and 2 small grandsons. They were very rustic and charming, with little decks on the front and log furniture! They do not have modern amenities, although they do have bathrooms, electricity and running water.... More

I was looking forward to the hot springs, which was nice and warm but reminded me of a 1980's swimming pool. I didn't agree that when paying to stay you then had to pay to go in the pools and also pay $3 to use the camps showers! A member of staff told us this and said use the pool... More

We used to come here all the time. This year we found the prices were jacked up so high we didn't swim more than once - $9.50 for a single swim?!?!?! Give me a break! Talk about gouging. Our grandchildren could not stay in the water long enough to justify the $19.95 for both to have a "single" swim
