I had a wonderful time here and met some cool people. For those expecting a "perfect" hostel, go to expensive tourist towns Whistler or Banff. Revelstoke is where you'll find the hardcore boarders and skiers, and a small town feeling with humble accommodations!

There is no manager to help a relatively useless staff. Check-in took 20 minutes and constant apologies...I was the only person being helped. Smelly, dirty. Bed is fine, standard. Kitchen is small, dirty - workable but wash dishes first. Travelers are lovely, as always. Honestly - STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. I stayed here because it is the ONLY hostel here... couch-surfing...

We stayed for 3 nights in winter. The hostel is close quarters which is difficult at first but you get used to it. The common spaces made us make friends because that was the only place we could get wifi. It was good because we got the low down on places we were going to later in our trip. I...

For years, a buddy and I stayed here because we were young, cheap and single. It's not the worst hostel I've stayed in by any means. It's got a good amount of cozy common spaces, big kitchens, and small dorm rooms with just a few beds. The layout in an old house is quaint. It's got typical curt hostel sevice...

Dirty, noisy, too small kitchen and staff that are doing the minimum. I actually saw one of them in his underwaer on the balcony(go figure what he was on) and other staff just smoking weed like it was normal. When you pass by the front desk they don't even bother stoping looking at there computer to say Hi or wish...

The hostel is not clean nor really dirty. Also, it is weirdly made. We stayed in the basement, which I found cleaner than the rest of the hostel where some of our friends stayed. I found it ok. It was a bit expensive to my taste. However, the staff was helpful and the give you free coupons to go to...

I stayed in a dorm for 2 nights. I arrived late after driving all day and was shown my room. They have a huge house that has lots of bedrooms. Showers and toilets are combined and there's a couple for each floor - I never had any issues or waits, although a little dirty (could use a wipe down at...

Apparently the Hostel is full mostly in winter but in summer there was nearly nobody there. I was clean but looked very run down. Samesun just took over Hostel - so they should invest in it I would say! There was no breakfast in summer and the kitchen contained virtually nothing. However, If you are not looking for much action...

At the end of the day you're paying a budget price, the hostel was clean and tidy, not too hot or too cold. Staff were helpful and no issues with the room. An extra bathroom may have been handy. The quiet time is 11pm however we were awoken a few times due to others laughing and being noisy so this...
