Detailed Reviews
We need a quick place to stay It was a super hot day in August and the look of the pool was wonderful. Really nice guy greeted us and gave us a room no problem. The place was clean and people were very nice. It’s not a place you are going to get room service We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

The motel did not look impressive from the highway and the turn in from the highway could be better marked. Host was great. Easy check in. Very nice breakfast included. Very clean. There is no question I would recommend this motel and return again.

Stayed here to attend the free Princeton Traditional Music Festival Aug.19-21(wonderful music). Motel room was very good value, clean with fridge and microwave. Owners very helpful and friendly. Sat outside our room to relax each evening and watched the deer nibble flowers in garden bed.

I’ve been coming to the Evergreen motel during my road trips for the past several years. I enjoy its simple and vintage atmosphere. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay: hot shower, comfortable bed, reliable wifi, room to stretch, big window, quiet considering it’s on a highway, great hospitality/service, easy highway access which makes it fast for traveling. The owner (I think he’s the owner) has been incredibly accommodating to my later arrivals and early departures. Before Covid, he would ask me my departure time so he could get up and make me a cup of coffee for the road!

This was the worst motel experience in a long time. Room 17 had what looked like a poorly patched hole in the bottom left of the entry door. Inside, the carpet and drapes were stained and the paint was peeling on the tiny shower stall floor. There was a strange, unidentifiable smell in the room. To be fair, there were clean towels and bedding and the grounds provided a good area to walk our dog. However, I would not recommend this motel since it does not appear to have had any renovations for decades.

The stay was great. Very basic accommodation but very clean and tidy. Lovely home cook breakfast with great kicking horse coffee. Owner even cleared snow off and around car. Felt very cared for. A nice change from impersonal hotels. It worth the stay.

Lovely little place, very clean and many original vintage features. Friendly and caring owner. There is a small pool and decent breakfast included. Easy walk into town. We saw deer, hummingbirds and chipmunks while having breakfast outside.

My mom and I stayed one night at the Evergreen Motel on August 4/2011. They are one of the few motels in Princeton that seem to offer rooms with 2 beds. The motel is one level and you park your car outside your room. There is no restaurant but the motel is only about one km from town and across the highway so no problem driving into town for a meal. The room was spotless and quite big with a small bathroom with shower. They have a sign in the bathroom apologizing for the 1 ply toilet paper but it is the only thing they can use because they are on a septic tank system! The only complaint I have is that the air conditioning was not effective enough and quite noisy. I wore earplugs to get to sleep then woke at 3:00 am finally cool enough to turn it off. There is a nice clean swimming pool in the front of the property and they apparently have kitchenettes although we didn't ask for a room with one. The price is very reasonable at $68.00 a night and the lady at the front desk very polite and helpful. They sell cold drinks from a fridge at the front desk as well. Overall they are a basic motel property but very clean and the service is good - for a pleasant night in Princeton what more do you need?
