I would give the building a poor rating as it is old and in need of a full rehab. But the rooms are clean, huge and comfortable and the staff is super friendly. So putting all together I will give it an average. I asked for a quiet room and the very kind receptionist gave me a quiet room at...

Stayed two nights while in town umpiring softball. Motel was prearranged by organizing committee. Room was clean and tidy, tv was dated, and the remote control did not work originally. Situation was rectified quickly. Beds were not the greatest, but adequate. No in room phone, not a big deal in this day and age. Road noise from the highway outside...

After being turned away from Howard Johnson because they had no pet rooms left (we had a reservation well in advanced ), and after looking for 2 hours, we came across Esta Villa. The motel was closed but they had their number posted on the door. Management actually got out of bed and drive to the motel to book us...

We often stay at the Esta Villa when we need to overnight in Port Alberni on route home to Bamfield. While this place is not the Ritz by any means, (more like cheap 'n cheerful), it's always very clean, and we find the staff to be quite pleasant and helpful, regardless of what time of day - or night need...

This place is standard motel on the outside, but the detail and smart setup makes your stay easy and worry-free. I love the uninstructed views of the mountains and everything you need within 2 blocks.

This was not our first stay at this motel. Previous stays have been ok considering it is a basic bare bones motel. We checked in on July 17 and paid for two nights in advance. We left the hotel on the morning of the 18th and did not return until after 9 PM. In all our travels (just two months...

We staid one night on our way to Ucuelet. Nothing special, but we liked it ok for one night. Staff was very friendly and good in giving advice on restaurants in town. Free Wifi and complimentary coffee/tea. 2 big beds + a refrigerator.

Quite pricey for a fairly basic motel. Brick interior walls aren't conducive to a cozy feel, and serve to date the rooms. Bed was on the firm side, but the room was clean and the office staff were friendly.

Price seemed fair upon booking...however??? you get what you pay for: brick walls, no sound proofing, kitchen without oven, the only thing missing were the bars on the windows! Beware of the long stay guests who think they own the place and will try to start fights, yell at your kids and must be sharing the same bottle as the...

Stayed here for one night on our way to Tofino. Room was very basic, but as clean as you can get. Nice beds, and the room size was above average. Lady at front desk was very helpful in giving some advice on what to do in Tofino. Overall, very satisfied with our stay at the Esta Villa!
