This motel was not what we expected. When we drove up it looked like a typical small highway motel. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our room featured one bedroom, a second queen bed in the entrance area, a kitchenette and a small table and two chairs. The bathroom had colourful decorations on the wall and the towels were nice colours rather than institutional white.
We really liked the colours. The fridge was bright red, the plates had bright patterns and the quilts were also patterned, not white. The only drawback was the limited space for luggage.
Everything was very clean and while close to a busy road, it was very quiet at night. It was also a short walk to the riverside path. Restaurants and services are about a block away.

One night stay, booked ahead online. This motel has only a plus column list. Bathroom: Pump shampoo and conditioner bottles, soft towels, good bathroom fan, great water pressure, real hot water. Beds: soft sheets, 3 pillows, softer side matress. Slept great! Kitchen: cutting board, utensils, pots, coffee, etc. Apartment size fridge. Air conditioning unit. Great paint job. Wood tones with grey paint. Very well maintained property. Mature rose bushes and hanging baskets finish our experience here perfectly. Well done!

Very affordable, clean rooms, very quiet, room are well appointed and fresh. Nice paint on the outside. We loved this place. We spent 5 days and had a kitchenette suite that was very well furnished. The exterior is very pleasant, clean and the beautiful hanging flower baskets complements the surrounding. The highway traffic is minimal and its doesn't reach the rooms or in any way affects or disturbs the stay. We will come back.

I have 3 dogs. its been raining all week. they charge $20 a night for dogs. So after 6 days that is $120 dollars. Never ONCE did they change sheets towels garbages or bedding. I had to get it myself. As we were stranded our moho broke down and the road is closed we were not prepared to stay at motel with dogs. I asked for dog blankets or towels..they didnt have. Upon check out i informed he that my puppy peed on the floor and the bed skirt absorbed to so it needed to be washed. she old me my sheets were too dirty i had to clean them myself if i wanted my $200 damage back. I did. I returned and she tried to tell me that 2 of them have taken 6 hours to clean the room.. it was 2 and i checked out at one. It was not Filthy in fact i cleaned everything but the floor. She refuses to give me my damage deposit back even there is no damage. Do not stay here they are scammers.

Our rate for each large dog is $20 so the pet charge should have been $60 per night as there was 3 large dogs. There was only 1 pet charge of $20 added to the rate. Then for the last night of stay there was no pet charge at all. Upon entering the room to check it before the $200 deposit was to be returned if the room was ok the sheets and duvet covers were piled on the filthy dirty floor. Upon picking them up they were covered in mud and dog hair. My housekeepers are not expected to deal with that filth. They are also not expected to go in a room when there are 3 large dogs. Upon checking where the dog pee was, the bed and frame had to be taken up and underneath the dog pee had soaked into the laminate under the bed. It took myself and one of my employees 3 hours to clean that room and that was not including the laundry of the duvets, curtains etc to try and get the smell out. As we could not get the smell out we were not able to rent the room the night of check out. The 2 sets of sheets and mattress pad and cover that were taken by you were worth at least $200 alone never mind all the cleaning and laundry we had to do.

We stayed here for 2 nights - attractive, quiet location with pleasant walks to the waterway and restaurants. The room was meticulously clean and nicely updated, air-conditioning and overhead fans kept us just the right temperature. Very comfortable bed and linens. Friendly owners. Would definitely hope to return, as well as recommend this cute spot to friends and family.

This must be an old motel, but with a modern renovation. Excellent room. Ours had two queen beds, and full kitchen (full-sized fridge and stove, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker and Keurig machine), plenty of pots & pans, dishes, flatware, etc. Comfortable bed. Modern bathroom. Excellent COVID practices. Quiet location, but walk to restaurants.

We booked this room as a way point between travel from Tofino and Victoria, 2 adults 2 teenage girls. We honestly didn't expect much being on the lower end of the price scale and an older property. We were pleasantly surprised though! The room was spotless! There were 2 queen beds..in separate rooms! With Separate TVs !,which worked great for our family.. A very clean and well stocked kitchen area, full size fridge, even down to a rubber ducky in the tub. We'd have no problem staying here again.

We stayed in the cottage lastnight and it was so beautiful and clean. It was super quiet. Rooms with a full kitchen was more than we expected. Staff were so friendly. Highly recommend, we'll be back again next summer for sure.

We have a material covered foam you can put on the floor if you like but we do have rooms with 2 queen and 1 single bed and we also have the cottages which one of the cottages has 3 queen beds and a queen futon or the other cottage which has 2 queen beds and a queen pull out sofa which might be more suited for more people.
Thank you
Janice
