This is one of the best places to stay. The suite is so wonderful and self contained. Large bedroom and a sleeper couch as well. Two bathrooms, and a huge soaker tub, laundry, full kitchen and views to die for. The restaurant has amazing food and the staff throughout incredible. Spa, swimming pool and all amenities!! Love this place and 8 days were not enough.
Very friendly staff, caters to families, great pool! We also enjoyed our food from the restaurant. Walking distance to the best playground on Vancouver Island. We will be back for sure this summer! Ask for room facing beach.
This was our third time at the Beach Club Resort. The last couple times we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen facilities. It is big, nicely decorated and offers a lot of amenities like a fully stocked kitchen, fireplace and washer/dryer. We found the price very reasonable for what was offered, including an ocean view. After our stay here we went to the Kingfisher Resort and the Beach Club offered way more value for money! We were also happy to see multiple EV charging in their underground parking (which Kingfisher lacked). Also, beds super comfortable! We will absolutely come back.
We stayed here for 4 nights on our family trip this summer. It is a perfect location right in the beach and it is a short drive or a nice walk to shops, restaurants, and activities. We will definitely be coming back!
Arrived at our 5pm check in - which seemed late. By the time we were unpacked, and took a quick trip down the boardwalk, we quickly discovered that most food option in the area closed at 6pm or 7pm. So, either have plans to eat at the resort, or plan accordingly. Beach was great with chairs and umbrellas supplied, but they were obviously not cleaned / sanitized as wrappers from previous users were still in the pockets. Overall a nice experience, but found the price point high for what was delivered.
Travelodge experience for over double the price. This was booked as part of an extended trip to break our journey. Obviously it is on the beach front but don’t expect the beach view you booked. Rooms are not ready until 5pm. Ours was even later due to maintenance issues. Our view was of the main road with the corner of the beach visible from the balcony. Sadly this was inaccessible as door wouldn’t open. 1 towel per person and no breakfast available as the restaurant closes 2 days a week!! Unlucky us!! You can stay at the Travelodge for less than half price- no beach view but at least you get breakfast and it’s included. On the plus side the bed was very comfy and shower excellent.
The location was great. Other than that, everything else is below par. The bathtub was filled with sand, stained and the drain was really slow. More like a 2* motel than a real hotel. The hallway is outside tons of bugs are in the room. Restaurant is closed on Tues and wed and there’s nothing else on site, not even coffee. There’s 1 vending machine in the entire resort and it was out of order. I asked the front desk if they could sell me a bottle of water and I was told to walk across the highway to get it at the gas station, and it was in the middle of the night…. At close to $500 a night for a standard room, it’s NOT worth the big bucks. We love parksville and will def revisit, but will be staying somewhere else next time.
mystified that nobody used the chained up kayaks and paddleboards - fact is they are never available - the excuse is "tides" - or some other bizarre reason - fact is they are for show only - any possible excuse they are not available " fully booked" , tides are wrong, staff unavailable - fact is take your money and make false promises
Very welcoming and efficient staff. We had a lovely room with sea and mountain views, with close proximity to walking along the boardwalk. Really enjoyed their Thursday night steak meal in the restaurant, tasty and very good value! Attentive restaurant staff.
Every time we visit the Beach Club Resort in Parksville we are amazed!! And this last time was not the exception. Our beautiful one bedroom suite was breathtaking, facing the ocean, charming and well kept! And the staff was extremely great, they went the extra mile to take care of us! Thanks Teya, Spencer and Rob for your professionalism and for making our stay memorable!! We can’t wait to be back!!
