Worst experience ever. The owners were rude and seemed to only care about getting additional money from a few friends that dropped in for a visit. I realize running a business is about making money, but to harass my visitors within 10 min of arriving and asking for money for parking and visiting is outrageous. Can't say I'll come back...

Camping at Parry's campground is always a great experience. I go every year, always clean, and the service is great :) It sits on the Englishman River, plenty of water every summer. And of course it has a heated outdoor pool as well. Its close to everything in Parksville.

We have never been treated so horribly. Had guests for dinner and they tried to charge us five dollars per person and then tried to kick them out at seven thirty. Kids were running through our site at eleven at night screaming and yelling. We had a cable box to return before we left but they had the store closed...

The best campsite. It offers a playground, small convenience store, pool, river, laundry mat, playground and ample room to ride bikes. If you shop around you'll see the prices are below average for the amount of amenities offered at Parry's. I have been coming here for 30 years and am now passing my experiences onto my 5 year old son....

My boyfriend and I had never been here before but we payed for 3 nights as it was a long weekend. We arrived 30 min early and they charged us 10.00. 4 people next to us came in early in the evening that partied all night and were still when we packed up and left at 7:30 am. I went...

This Asian family run park is the worst experience I have ever had in 40 yes of camping. To start, when we arrived 30 min early they charged us 10$ on a 30$ a day Campsite. The washroom facilities were filthy. The sites are very small and crammed together with nothing in between. We then had a group of four...

The current owners are awful people! So rude. Will NOT ever go back to this place! There was garbage spread out for days, the never emptied the stinky diaper garbages in the bathrooms. The pool was not open after assuring us it would be, then came up with 3 different excuses of why it wasn't. The lady has no people...

Full disclosure: We did not actually stay here. We were staying at a nearby RV campground, but decided to check this one out for future visits. We took a long, slow drive through the facility to fully explore it from one end to the other. Also, this was the first Canadian long weekend of the month of May which is...

This park was advertised as family oriented park and with amenities. There was only two toilets per men/women with only one toilet working for the woment. No change table for mothers with babies in the bathroom. Pool was very dirty and not heated as advertised. Our 3 yr old daughter became violently ill after swimming in the pool, resulting in...

Located on the river which is warm enough to swim. There are blocked off areas for kids. Sites are large and shady - a nice change from small seaside places. Good for couples and families. Lots of well -behaved little kids riding around. Town is 1.6 km away as is the huge park/public beach. Pick a spot near the river.
