The Blaylock Mansion is a dream home away from home and I would highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anybody who is looking for a relaxing visit in a beautiful location. I recently stayed at the Blaylock Mansion from October 21-24th 2016 and from the minute we pulled up to the mansion, I felt extremely welcomed by Mark and...

I visited Nelson this past summer and was fortunate enough to book in a few nights at the Blaylock mansion. The grounds are absolutely stunning and well manicured which made for pleasant outdoor relaxation. My room was very clean, nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The lovely couple who run the mansion exceeded all of my expectations and...

This is a beautiful house and when you stay there you can roam through it. The rooms are lovely. The bedrooms are average and there are only a couple of rooms with more than one bed in them, Not ideal for a friend trip. The breakfasts were great and the hosts very helpful. The grounds are incredible so if you...

We were graciously welcomed by Mark and Michelle as they opened their beautiful mansion and its gardens to us for a weekend getaway. Walks through beautifully grown arbors, rock gardens, and trees transported us into a secret time and place. Their hospitality invited us to use their home as our home. We look forward to another trip soon. Excellent breakfasts...

Given the choice between a no lake view room, a lake view room with shared bath and a view room with private bath, we opted for luxury--at $200 a night. The grounds and public spaces are beautiful, comfortable and well kept. Bedrooms are not. There was one hard chair, see photo, a soft queen bed, dresser and useless dressing table....

Our families were given the freedom to create our vision of the perfect wedding, and with lots of planning and prep, we feel we did it. Theres so much space for creativity here, and we took full advantage of that. It is an outdoor venue, so weather is always a concern, and has to be planned around. Our guests so...

Brett, Mark and Michelle made our stay very easy and comfortable. They were open and receptive to wedding venue wishes and made them all come true. The rooms were uniquely decorated and the beds wonderfully comfortable. The breakfasts prepared by Michelle were outstanding. We had a great time with no complaints.

We enjoyed all the nooks and crannies of this magnificent old historical mansion. A great change from staying in hotels and motels. We got to meet and visit with people from around the world over 5 stars breakfasts prepared by our accommodating hosts. With limited guests it almost feels like you have the whole place to yourself. The grounds are...
