Thank you for your feedback. I very much regret that you had a negative experience at our hotel. Unfortunately the train passing by is something that we have no control over, and can be a nuisance to some guests who are not anticipating it. We do try to warn everyone when they book and we do our best to phone everyone who books on line to warn them about the train. The ear plugs are our friendly way of assisting guests who may need a bit of extra help sleeping through the noise. Charge a lot for small dogs $20 a night. And beware the train going by. The bed's could be updated as well. As well not sure about the placement of the TV? My husband had to keep leaning over in order to get a good view of it.

Comfortable bed and decent in room coffee, that’s it. The first night the train came through at 10:30 right after we fell asleep, the 2nd night at 4am. It’s very loud and shakes the building. They do offer earplugs but they didn’t help. With so many options we would not stay

They are very slow at cleaning rooms. Our room was not ready yet when we arrived at 4pm even though we had a reservation, so we had to wait for a room. There were stairs to go down/climb with our luggage and they were not quick to offer help to us, two senior ladies. Free

Thank you for taking the time to review our Inn in Nelson. I do apologize that our housekeeping team was not able to address your room in a more timely fashion. We certainly strive to clean rooms in the beginning half of the day, so I regret that this wasn’t the case during your stay. We are not considered a full-service hotel and thus do not have a restaurant on site. However, we are pleased to offer guests a $10 breakfast voucher (which is not available to Resort guests) and all of the guests of the Inn are more than welcome to enjoy all the Resort’s amenities such as the pool, hot tub, fitness centre, outdoor spaces, etc., at no extra charge. Thank you again for your comments and I hope you’ll give us the opportunity to earn your loyalty again Wendy Le Bleu General Manager

What about the train going by?
The train goes by a couple times a day, once in the evening and once in the night. Unfortunately it does have to sound it's horn when it crosses the intersection

"THere is a train that goes through town and the train is RIGHT behind this hotel and the busy thoroughfare street is right in front."
