Very affordable little place to stay! No elevators so be prepared to hike some flights of stairs with your luggage. It is not updated but the rooms were very clean and the service was great. The view from the balcony was awesome! Definitely recommend this place if you're traveling on a budget.

Great staff, great view. Facility itself is old and a little dated, including the blue bath tub and toilet but good value and the front desk lady was the nicest and most helpful ever! No coffee machine in the room but there's one down stairs... overall not bad!

Okay older motel, clean, very good bed, large room. Good location close to Nelson BC and great nature walks. Nice view over the lake. Staff very friendly. Lobby rather minimal. No elevator to second floor if you have heavy bags. Good wifi. Bathroom small but okay, no toilet paper holder.

We recently stayed here for a soccer tourny, Our grandaughter was playing and the team was supposed to get a "good" rate for the team. When I talked to the lady by phone she said 98 dollars and I informed her that I was on the web and the rooms there were 84 dollars. She agreed to give me that...

Great place! Rooms were clean and the staff helpful. Close enought to downtown and the beaches. Great views from the rooms. Affordable. The entrance looks a little old and worn out but the rooms more than make up for it. Enjoyed our stay.

Stayed there for a night. It's nice hotel, near the city center , just across the river. Beautiful view, nice, friendly personnel . Very good complimentary breakfast with cereal, milk, coffee, tea, peanut butter and so on. Room is big enough and clean. Just perfect for a short stay in Nelson.

Our room here was clean and comfortable. The service from the owners was excellent. They were very friendly & full of tips on where to eat & what to see in town. The rooms have views of Kootenay Lake. Located on the outskirts of town, the hotel is only 5 minutes from several restaurants downtown. There is a limited continental...

Just outside of the City of Nelson. Great staff. Older hotel but very clean and some upgrading is being done. Need a short cab ride to town but you will save a lot of money on your hotel. Nelson is great, just like going back in a time warp.

We stayed for 3 nights. The proprietors and their staff were very nice and very accommodating - I asked for a couple of items and they took care of my request right away. There is a lake view from all of the rooms. The room was clean and bright. No in-room coffee, no ironing board and iron (but could ask...
