We spent 4 nights at this location and even though it is a bit dated it is a great place to stay. People may say things about the continental breakfast and the lack of an elevator but overall the place is very comfortable. The owners are very friendly, the rooms are very clean and the mattress we had was very...

We had reservations at the Lake shore inn in Nelson. The upper rooms of the motel have a nice view of the lake. It is not the Hilton, but clean, comfortable beds and they serve a light continental breakfast which is included in the price. The rooms have a small balcony which is nice in the afternoon to watch the...

This hotel is really clean and has a lot of character, but it's beginning to show its age and really is just a standard hotel room. The furniture and bathroom are very old (the bathroom is entirely blue!). However, the spacious room that we had did make up for that. We had a separate bedroom and living room area. The...

Comfortable, quiet, clean and cool thanks to the air-conditioner. A light continental breakfast served in the lobby is an unusual bonus at this price point. Although conveniently located on Highway 3 from Cranbrook, it's well out of town requiring a short drive for meals or other amenities. There is no access to the lake shore which was disappointing.

We stayed on the top floor of the motel(no elevator) and had an amazing view of the lake. I'm sure every floor would get the same great view. The entrance to the motel was in need of some repairs as there were bricks missing from the interlocking patio and a rug covering another area in need of bricks being replaced....

Most of the other places in Nelson were full so I hit upon this one in my booking. The place is clean, overlooks the Lake, and is satisfactory. The breakfast is continental so don't expect anything other than toast and coffee. I found the rooms and bed to be comfortable and the space relatively and surprisingly quiet with the main...

• Good sized room. • Ac issue. There is no remote. You have to climb on the table to turn on the ac • Tub water stood when you got in to shower • The bed and pillows were fine. • Breakfast was ok, just bread and cereal.

We got a better rate by calling the motel direct, rather than booking on line. The motel is fairly old, but well maintained. Rooms are clean and functional but definitely not fancy. All the rooms face the lake, unfortunately the heavy power lines interfere with the nice view. The rate included free Wi-Fi, which was a little on the slow...

Stayed in this hotel while visiting Nelson, BC, very affordable and rooms were quite large, they could use some upgrades and stop using the prison smelling air freshener, contential breakfast was ok, there is a nice inexpensive café just down the road with excellent service, meals and pricing.

The rooms are comfortable without being luxurious. They are spacious without being large. The breakfast is continental and eaten on Garden Furniture inside the foyer. No kidding. Wi Fi works and is free. Stay here and eat breakfast in town.
