We stayed here Sept.2008 for one night, because we needed an overnight between Jasper, AB and Vancouver, BC. It's a real hidden gem and very good price. Definitely will stay here again when in the area!

The three of us absolutely loved this place. Owner's very nice and friendly and the animals and location are awesome. The rooms themselves are so big we were amazed, also have outside balcony with seating. Everything was so very clean.
There are many animals, like a mini horse, donkeys, chickens, a lama and more and a cute adopted dog named Second Chance. The location itself, on top of a hill, overlooks the valley and paddocks with horses running around..wow

It is definitely worth driving the few kilometres from Merritt to find this excellent B & B. We stayed in the Western Room which was huge with a fridge & it's own balcony. Just outside the room are tea/coffee making facilities. The animals on the estate were a bonus - children would love them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B & B to other travellers.

We stayed at Running Waters on April 1st and it was delightful for many reasons. First, our hosts including Chance, their dog were very gracious and welcoming. Our room was spotless, large and comfortable with lovely views of theNicola Valley.. We loved the many friendly animals on the ranch and had a chance to feed them in the morning. We enjoyed a long walk in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed our taste of ranch life at Running Waters.

Rose & Rick have created a destination B&B from a dry hillside in the sun parched Nickola Valley minutes from Merritt. As B&B owners ourselves we are very aware of the attention to detail that gives a B&B a good reputation ; we must weigh in here and say that on our recent stay ~~ we were impressed !
The rooster, the goats, the birds, the flowers, the fine food, and the gentile hospitality all mingled together to create a refreshing and relaxing getaway for us.
Thanks again

My wife and had our first time in B&B's and we were not disapointed. The room was outstanding. The Kurig coffee was a real treat...:) And the the breakfast hit the spot first thing in the morning . The drive out of Merritt is a little far but worth the drive.

Rose and Doug were fantastic hosts. Room and view were fantastic. Extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with a variety of choices. Had a lot of fun with Doug and his dog as they fed the animals. (donkeys, lamas, goats, horses, dog) A great value B & B. A must stay!!!!!!!

This has become another regular overnight stopover for us on the route to Vancouver. Rose makes you feel totally at home. We stayed in the largest suite, it is simply huge, roomy for three on our first stay in 2013 and for four next year. Well appointed and decorated with a cowboy theme all over the house, our suite on the second level had its own sitout with a "view". Her cute collection of farm animals on the large estate appeals to kids and adults alike.
Aptly named "Bed and Barn" a cute take on BnB, she can host both you and your horses.

You will truly love your experience here. When you walk outside you immediately notice one of the most spectacular views your could ever see. Rose is the hostess and she is extremely kind and accommodating. The facility is beautiful. My room was extremely nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed at Running Waters en route from Vancouver to Calgary. What a shame it was only one night! Would happily have stayed longer.
What a delightful place. Only ten km outside Merritt on road to Spences Bridge. House surrounded by small-holding of llamas, donkeys, ponies, chickens etc. Lovely ambiance to the place, a warm welcome by Rose who is the perfect hostess. Spacious cool room on a hot day, very comfortable and immaculately clean. Useful communal area with tea-making facilities, TV etc., and altogether very good value. Enjoyed a good meal at the nearby Hitching Post.
Highly recommended.
