Staying here for 4 nights for work. Beds are decent and rooms are clean. Wifi is excellent as each room has its own router, looks like shaw.
Place is not ideal for work crews as the kitchenettes are rather lacking but adequate and not unusual for motels in the area.

The place does have a charm as its a log building, rooms have high ceilings and each have a patio. A fine place to stay if your not cooking much or anything. Unfortunately no pets and the resturant is no longer open.

Loved the log cabin style. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Quiet location, comfy room, comfy bed and pillows, very clean. Great staff. The only negative, noisy air conditioner. Would I stay there again? Absolutely 👍.

My wife and I were on the way east from Vancouver and the drive, while spectacular was long. Merit Lodge was right off the interstate and perfect for us. Reasonable price and clean, with a restaurant right next door. Good spot to rest!

With the log cabin feel and the cleanliness I truly love staying there. The owner is a wonderful caring man, who wants you to enjoy your stay! Haven't tried the restaurant yet, but am told by locals they serve great food! Will be trying next week.

Although we rented 4 days july of 2017 with our small dog, which was ok....this year when coming back from alberta we were looking forward to spending a few nights here again, the owner told us no pets allowed, so it seems sometimes pets are ok then next pets are not allowed, i understand some people are irresponsible, really was a disappointment that we could not stay.....got another motel across the street, which we were very welcomed by the owners

Was given the room I'm certain the lady knew had no heat! I had to plug in the old Hot plate and by morning the room was just getting the cold edge off! Luckily the water was hot, so I could shake off the shivers! I am usually very forgiving and am happy to support the smaller cheaper motels when I travel alone, as I am not to picky! But this was a bad experience! So beware!!

I was looking for a place to sleep not a resort. The cheap chains wanted twice as much. The owner does not speak English well but service was great, Great food nearby as well. Room met my needs and I was pleased. Close to Transcanada highway as well.

We enquired at this motel to find the lady on the front desk had very poor English comprehension. After looking at the room (which was very nice) and following further discussion, we declined to stay. Our understanding from (otherwise good) reviews, was that breakfast was available in the restaurant, but the restaurant had been closed! We felt uncomfortable about the whole situation. Evening of May 23rd 2015.
