Very good location right in town and right on the river. Well shaded with plenty of grass. Very friendly and helpful staff. Laundry facility was in decent shape but only one washer and dryer. Restrooms and showers were in poor shape. No WIFI or sewer. Power and water were good with dump station available. Reasonable price.

This place is right in hope and on Hwy #1. Very little traffic through the night, quiet camping. Very good price and clean shower house. Close enough to walk to restaurants. Good access for motorcycles

This campground is directly on the bank of the mighty Fraser River. It has massive old growth trees. It is located very close to downtown Hope BC but you feel like you are in the woods.
During our stay bathrooms and showers were clean and functional.
This is not a posh campground but a beautiful rustic campground along the river side.
The rates are very reasonable and we would stay here again. The choice you have to make is between a very modern campground and a more rustic one like this one in a beautiful location. We will stay here again

I felt relaxed and comfortable there. It was quiet and the area was clean. There were some dirt and over grown areas but felt like true camping. We had full hook ups but There was a large grass area for tenting and dry camping. Everybody was friendly and polite. Had a family atmosphere.

This campground is quite delightful. We found it by chance and immediately decided to stay two nights, then we stayed another couple of nights three weeks later on our way home. The First Nations owners are charming, friendly, helpful, and very laid-back; they were in no hurry to take our money – they said to choose a site for our RV and pay later.
The campground caters for tents as well as RVs. RV sites cost $35 (or $30 if you’re over 65), credit cards accepted. Site numbers 1 and 6 have the best of the afternoon sun and the stunning views of the mountains across the river, and the free wifi is excellent about as far as site no 9. We had no problems with the washrooms – the showers are free (but there is no private cubicle for dressing after your shower), the water was very hot and there was plenty of soap and loo paper. The washing machine cost $2, and the drier only $1, and lasted a very long time.
The individual sites have water and electricity, and there is a sani dumping station for grey and black water. Each site has a picnic table, and if you go out for the day you can ask for a ‘Reserved’ sign to reserve your site.
It’s only a short walk into Hope town, where there’s a supermarket, liquor stores and eateries, and an extremely helpful visitor centre.
Visit the Othello Tunnels and the Hope Slide while you’re here, too.

We stayed at this location as it was close to downtown and it had showers. Now yes we were right it was close to downtown and had showers, hooray! Not!
So when we called to make a reservation the person on the phone mumbled and really did not sell us on their campground. We should have turned around then. So as we arrive we stopped at office to pay for our stay and they young man was too busy so he said just go pick a site and come back later. After we picked our site which really was not numbered or labeled well we went back to pay and he could not calculate that we were staying for 5 nights even though I said but he charged us for 4 ya for us but bad for them. The campground overlooks the river and is a very nice view but the good stuff ends their. Yes there are showers but they are completely run down and filthy scared to use them. The bathrooms are regularly out of toilet paper and never cleaned. The mop bucket sat out side with same dirty water our entire visit. The ports potties finally got emptied after they were overfill. As well the campground is labelled a a native site of the "People of the river" but no where was there any inclination of any pride in their culture. Also they advertise native crafts never saw those either. There is no playground for kids and if you have small ones you want to camp away fro the drop off to the river. Then there is the derelict gazebo a giant pile of damaged picnic tables. This place lets you camp but you are better off at a provincial at least they have standards. This place just seems like a money grab, no money they bring in goes to maintaining the places or any upgrades. We will not stay again.

Telte-Yet is a great place to camp....very friendly and trusting service....Viola is wonderful....many sites with large trees right on Fraser River...short 10 minute walk thru residential areas to downtown for groceries, restaurants and bars.. Good, clean showers. Electric hookups and water to fill fresh tanks.

Have been here before but this time was terrible. Washrooms were disgustingly horrible. Plugged toilet! Nobody around on the desk till 6 at night. Our campsite had garbage all around it and dog poo as well! Will not go back again. Such a beautiful property but not taken care of!

This is a well organized, basic campground. It has power, water, hot showers and toilets. It was clean and the campers were friendly. Would absolutely stay here again! It is placed on the Fraser with a beautiful view. Only drawback is there is a lot of trains that roll through Hope in the evening.
