We stayed here for 4 nights last week and really enjoyed it. Because of Covid things now are different. Our room was downstairs and there is only one bathroom there so we had the whole area to ourselves. There was no cooked breakfast the owners prepared a packed breakfast and lunch which included apple juice, banana, muffin or banana bread and devilled egg sandwiches which were great. We went upstairs to pick up our coffee in the morning and the lunches were in the second fridge which we had everyday. Sherri and Wendell were great hosts and made our stay very pleasant. They gave us advise of places to visit which were great. Our room was very comfortable and beds very comfortable. Thank you for a great stay.
My husband and I liked the Country Comfort Bed & Breakfast very, very much. We stayed in a comfortable room with a great & comfortable bed with a view of the stunning mountains with snow on top. The bathroom is a share kind but we were lucky enough they did not have more guests that evening so it was great. Surely had been a full house, it would have taken a bit of planing as who goes next but we would have not minded at all... the more the merrier ;) Sherri and Wendell were FABULOUS, friendly, sweet & so welcoming. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! My hubby and I had fresh orange juice, yummy bacon and eggs, whole-wheat toasts with 4 kinds of jams to chose from & the plates/mug included, were hot to keep it all warm. They gave us tips where to go to see bisons & wolves & places to enjoy meals. Close to amenities. It’s a beautiful old home with a lot of character. We would not hesitate and visit them again in the future. …
Firstly I must point out that check in 4:00 pm really means that , which is fine. Found the shoes removal ceremony at the door a little strange in view of the fact you could wheel your suitcase in the house, and they own a dog . Anyway the room was fine though access to the shower took you into the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, which is important, and breakfast was very good lndeed.
Perfectly located in Golden and within minutes of the highway. What a wonderful experience staying here was. The owner was generous with her time, answered all our questions, and gave us a multitude of suggestions on sights to see. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this Bed & Breakfast above a hotel stay. You just can’t beat genuine warmth and hospitality from found here.
The place is owned by a friendly couple. We loved the hospitality, the room and breakfast. Consult the owners about the trip to the Rocky's - they gave us many great tips. Feeling home away from home. Highly recommend.
