This beautiful log cabin B&B is just minutes from downtown Golden, but feels like you are really out in the "back country," with every amenity you could want. The beautiful stillness that surrounds you is always breathtaking and the cosy lodgings are most comfortable and quiet. The ambiance exudes mountain and railway culture with photos, artwork and informative books galore.... More

During our trip to Lake Louise, we decided to try something we had not done before and that was try a stay in a B & B. What a wonderful experience this was! This was very easy to find from the good signage in Golden and it has a very nice setting back among the trees and away from the... More

We loved our stay in this large log cabin, that looks across the valley toward the mountains. It's only ten minutes drive into Golden, but it feels as if it's in the wilderness. Our hostess, Jeannie, was so warm and welcoming she made us feel right at home. We stayed in two different rooms (just the way it worked out):... More

I don't stay in B&Bs - this one is the exception. Jeannie is a genuine hostess who provides hospitality reminiscent of days gone by. The "home away from home" provides an opportunity to visit with the rest of the guests or enjoy the property away from them. The family-style breakfast is exceptional. Stay longer than one night to enjoy the... More

Can't say enough about how wonderful Jeannie was and how fabulous her B&B is. We were stopping overnight in Golden on our way to Kelowna for a girls weekend away and the lower bedroom was perfect as it had 3 separate beds in it. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could want. The breakfast was spectacular with... More

This is the second time we stay here on a drive from Calgary to Vernon. Just the perfect spot to stop for the night, get a good sleep, and enjoy the area. Jeannie is one of the warmest hostess I have ever known. She pays attention to every detail and makes sure that your experience is absolutely perfect. The breakfast... More

Jeannie & Jerry are personable, helpful, very friendly. Make you feel at home in all ways. We have visited dozens of B&B's and this is one of the very best. Scores of knick knacks to look at in the home. But most of all, Jeannie sat with the guests each morning and got everyone involved in conversation... remarkable talent. And... More

My wife and I stayed at this B&B following our white water rafting trip. We are so glad that we chose to stay in this wonderful location and our stay was very enjoyable. We were met by our host upon arrival and immediately we felt welcomed and at home. The actual B&B for guests is a seperate building from where... More

The lodge is set in a beautiful secluded position in the woods with breathtaking views of snow capped mountains which never disappoint. You are immediately greated by the owner, Jeannie, who makes you feel like part of the family from the second you meet. The ground floor consists of two lounge areas separated by a kitchen and dining table, where... More

We spent 2 nights at Kicking Horse B&B and very much enjoyed our stay. The house is a little bit outside of Golden but still quite easy to get to town (in the evening for example) if you have a car. When you get to the B&B, the views are spectacular with snow covered peaks in front of you !... More
