Superbly pleased with the Prestige Inn Golden. Clean contemporary rooms, comfortable beds, updated technology such as a free hdmi cable to connect your laptop to the TV and a TV in the washroom. Stayed twice in one weekend traveling to and from Calgary. Ricki's restaurant, in the building, is my favourite breakfast.

Stayed at this property for two nights as part of a road trip. We were provided with a double queen pet room on the first floor. The room was spacious and well appointed, the colour scheme and draperies could use some refreshing. The pool and hot tub area was nice and clean and the room had a spacious bathroom with soaker tub and tv. The restaurant in the hotel was average. The hotel is located right off the main highway and there is plenty of parking either in front or behind the hotel. All interactions with staff were very positive. I would consider this hotel probably one of the best options for Golden. I would stay here again.

Hotel is nice for the price. Dont expect anything fancy, Hotel is clean and not too noisy. Close to highway, Tim Horton right in front and 15 minutes from Kicking Horse resort. Easy to get to the restaurant in Golden

Hotel rooms were dark with little lighting. Two out of three of the rooms we looked in appeared to have what looked like mold/serious water damage. On the upper end of cost to value with anything we’ve stayed in. Outside is remodeled and the inside is out dated. I’d looking for a place over three stars head elsewhere.

Had to stop at golden due to weather at 2am had no troubles checking in staff was excellent checking in and out! Me and my doggo had an great rest don't hesitate to spend the night here rooms are clean beds are comfy pet friendly!

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the location is great. I stayed one night on my way out to Vancouver. I would stay here again. The attached restaurant had good food and was priced decently.

due to hwy construction on Hwy 1 at Golden and East... we had to spend the night once again at the Prestige Inn, only this time in Golden (last time was in Radium) The Prestige Inn gives great service and right now has a traveler's discount due to detour on Hwy 95 and Hwy 93 to continue thru East. Or West. which ever direction you might be headed. Both Hotels are clean, well maintained, friendly and efficient. comfortable too. however clean is the optimum word.,

Happy the supervisor was very accommodating.. happy with our stay :) We had 4 rooms for business. The beds were comfy and nice tvs.. good parking for large commercial vehicles out on the street.. water pressure in the shower was good.. we would stay again!

First of all, this hotel is wayyyy overpriced!!! And secondly, most importantly, one of the pillowcases were dirty, the packets by the coffee maker of stir sticks, sugar, etc was opened, and there was food left in the fridge (and not by us!). I really was hoping the sheets had been changed! When I talked to the front desk guy in the morning, he was really understanding and he took our pet fee off and gave me a 5% discount, which when you think about it, I really should have gotten at least half off the room! It still came to $276.00!!!! Will not be staying here again, that's for sure!
