Clean, rustic rooms. Coffee and tea available in the lobby, grand fireplace - cozy, awesome for relaxing after a long day on the hill.

Connected pub had great food and even better service. Staff were super helpful and friendly. They were quick to show us the best spots on the resort.

Front desk staff went above and beyond, they showed us to our rooms and gave us a full tour of the properties. Sometimes the front desk wasn't manned but we just used the phone system as explained and they were quick and happy to help with anything we needed.

We will definitely be returning.

Hot buffet breakfast was an added bonus.

We stayed in the lodge over New Years and had a great time. The room are spacious with comfy beds and a great bathroom with huge bath type. Amazing views from both the room and the bathroom. Who don’t want to get in a nice warm bathtub and look at a gorgeous view after a day of skiing.
During our stay we had some minor issues with the room, which the management handled extremely professionally and service minded. The lodge will be our choice when back in Kicking Horse.

My husband and I stopped for one night and loved our room - well appointed with robes, great deck with two comfortable chairs, great TV reception and a comfortable bed. No other restaurant was open around us at this time perhaps with the downturn in the economy due to COVID except the wine bistro at the hotel which had a limited but acceptable menu. Only disappointment for us was there was no in room coffee service and because of COVID the usual communal coffee service was unavailable with a sign that said the front desk staff would be happy to get refreshments for us - great if you are not an early riser as they didn't start until 9am and so we decided to hit the road early as no fun sitting in bed lounging with no coffee!

The mountain area was beautiful and we enjoyed our time exploring. Sadly, our room was dusty, no physical staff were present to answer any questions (option to email for assistance, which was answered the next day) we had a single fan to cool our room off, and a small “facial bar” for hand soap. We felt that the price we paid to stay was far to much for what received and decided that the cost was due to its location to the mountain.

This lodge looks beautiful in the picture, but our stay was far from wonderful. We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to find the front desk girl for us to check in, and then she was rude when we told her how long we'd been waiting. Because we were on a long ski trip vacation, we had to climb 2 flights of stairs with numerous heavy bags - no help. The walls are PAPER THIN. We could hear the people next door in the massage room talking; people downstairs in a common area talking and laughing, and the people who stayed there seemed to be young and liked to party. People were banging on an old piano downstairs late at night and woke us up, and another night there were people outside screaming, yelling and it seems throwing something against walls.
The room we had didn't have any dressers so we had to live out of our suitcases. We were really looking forward to staying there and were so disappointed by the time we left. One positive, was the breakfast that was served in the lodge across the street. A very nice selection of hot and cold breakfast food. We also went to dinner in the same restaurant the night before we left and it was very good. But that's where the positive starts and ends.

Stayed here with my fiancee. The room was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The lodge is welcoming with a fireplace and games area. The sauna wasn’t really warm which is the ONLY thing I would have changed. There is a cute bistro/pub where the bartender Marie served Caesars that were seriously out of this world, the proportions were nailed down to perfections and garnish was delightful. Food was good too, but those caesars, DANG!!!!!

Stayed two nights as the base for visiting the Glacier National Park of Canada and the Revelstoke area. We enjoyed the spacious layout, but our overall feeling is that this place needs some updating.

We don't like Golden as a town. There's an ugly web of railways in the middle of the town that passes pretty much right by the back of some hotels we were considering, so we ended up choosing the lodge for its location on the mountain which is far enough from the train noise.

Stayed here to be close to the mountain to so some biking. Comfortable with a nice lodge feel. The staff were friendly and the attached restaurant was good.

Walking distance to the base, gondola, and restaurants.

Would recommend for anyone looking to be close to the mountain and enjoy a nice stay.

I had a great time at Winston Lodge. Nice size lodge and very pleasant common area with a real fire place. The staff was very helpful and the bistro next door is most convenient. Five minutes walk to the lifts : perfect. Thank you Tom for everything .
