Rustic but I was expecting that based on other reviews. The room was a nice size. Large bathroom with a window so there was lots of natural light. Window was appreciated because there was an overpowering smell of old cigarette smoke in the room. Asked to be assigned a different room but we were told they were fully booked. We were able to air it out a bit with the window in the bathroom on the back side of the room and the window on the front in the main part of the room. Disappointed that a non smoking facility (signs all over the property stating that it is non smoking) would have rooms that smelled like they’d been smoked in everyday for the last twenty years. Will stay somewhere else if we return to Cranbrook.

Thankfully only a one night stay. Bathroom was dirty. And the kind of dirt that’s been there
For a while but could easily be cleaned
Outdoor common area has random
Garbage under the stairs and along the room access halls. Room AC is either on HIGH or off and it’s so darn high it was dangerous to get to to turn off. Otherwise the bed was comfortable but the state of the bathroom makes me question if our bedsheets has been changed. If you can look beyond those things it wasn’t horrific and not a bad price for the area

Just stayed at Travellers Motel for one night. We were very impressed! The place was clean and comfortable and excellent value. The beds were sooo comfy and great pillows too! Nice tiled bathroom as well, great shower. We had our dog with us which was no problem for the motel. One concern when you are travelling with a dog is...where can she go pee? There are a long row of grassy boulevards you can walk your dog along just outside the hotel, however, the highway is right there, so you must use your leash, but just to get out for a quick pee it is perfect. Parking was no problem and the host was very nice. So, this is not luxury, it is basic but we give it a kick up from basic as it was updated and CLEAN and COMFY. What more do you want really??!!

My wife and I spent one night here in early October 2020 and were pleasantly surprised with our stay. We were travelling from Manitoba just passing through. The lady who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The room we were given was on the second floor and was clean and odorless. The bed was very comfortable also. Couldnt have really asked for much more. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

My family and I stayed here for 1 night in June 2020. Overall it as a pretty good stay, no real complaints. They had a nice gazebo area where you could smoke also, which was plus for we were smokers. The host was a really nice lady. Her hubby and another guests helped us the morning we were leaving with our license plate, which was much appreciated! Good stay overall, good price also and quick access to the hwy to Alberta!

The room was basic and small, but clean. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom sink took a long time to drain. There's no extractor fan in the bathroom. No bedside table on one side of the king bed. For the price it was adequate. However, the parking space in front of the room and around it was littered with a lot of cigarette butts. Definitely needs cleaning up. That said, our room didn't smell of cigarettes at all, it smelled fine.

Honestly, the only reason I stayed here was because it was the only room available within walking distance of the Husky Truck Stop. This place was an absolute dump. From the burned out motorhome and burned sign at the side of the hotel to the absolute filthy room & bathroom. It looked like this place hadn't been cleaned in years, maybe decades.

Absolutely disgusting. There was mouse poop. There were holes in the walls, in the carpet. The floors were filthy. The beds were so uncomfortable. The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly. The window sills were coated in dust and grime. We felt absolutely disgusted staying here. Unfortunately there were no other rooms available anywhere nearby to move to or we would have left immediately.
We also didn’t feel safe as there was no secondary lock on the door.

Outside wasn’t much better. There was garbage piled below the stairs and along the corridor upstairs. Empty beer cases and bottles all over the place. Such a filthy place.
Not worth staying at!

This place looks exactly how you think it does. The pictures are accurate. It's very clean, everything works, and you get a decent size fridge which is nice. The beds are brand new and actually incredibly comfortable. However, it is dated and things are a little worn. For us on a motorcycle trip, we loved this place and stayed twice. We would stay here again.

Hostess was very welcoming and helpful, did everything to accommodate me. The motel was quiet, lots of hot water and a good bed, the large fridge was much appreciated. I left very early so didn't have an opportunity to thank her again.
