At the Days Inn & Conference Centre By Wyndham Cranbrook, guests have reported a mix of experiences. While the hotel's cleanliness generally meets expectations and the complimentary breakfast is popular for its variety, some guests have found the rooms noisy and outdated, detracting from the overall comfort. The service earns praise for being friendly and helpful, although it can occasionally be slow. Opinions on the atmosphere are divided, with some appreciating the lobby and updated rooms and others feeling the need for immediate room changes. Concerns have been raised about the value, as some guests find the pricing steep given the noise and dated facilities.

Husband and I were traveling through and chose this hotel because of the cost and amenities. Staff were pleasant and polite. We had awful sleeps however this was likely more about us, travel and time change then the hotel. Could be a little cleaner. The most disappointing part was that I called to check when the pool opened (7am). The next morning was wanting to jump in at 7am but it was still covered, called the front desk who had it uncovered and called me to tell me that, then I got ready went out and was told by the maintenance guy that it would not be ready to go in for an hour for cleaning. So there was no use of the pool for us:( breakfast was typical, but the eggs were overly salty for my taste.

I didn’t understand the higher ratings of this hotel until we had breakfast. They had an omelet and burrito bar where the food was prepared on demand. There was fruit, sausage, bacon and potatoes, plus a number of bread items including gluten-free bread, oatmeal and pastries. Plus non-dairy almond milk.

The room was cramped and dated with a green sleeper sofa in addition to the bed. There was only about a foot of space between the bed and wall, so you couldn't get out of bed on that side without touching the wall and/or curtains. There were only two electrical outlets in the room and they were both on the same side of the bed. There was a coffee maker but nowhere to plug it in. The outlet in the bathroom only worked if you left the light on so we couldn't use that one to charge things up overnight.

The fridge had a freezer compartment and there was a microwave. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate a special need that we had.

You could hear the traffic noise on the street and other customers in the hallways. And there was a crawly thing in the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The great breakfast and staff unfortunately does not make up for an uncomfortable motel room.

We stayed here for four nights while we completed an RV purchase.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, which really matters. Towels were changed daily even though we had them hanging, which was fine!
The staff was extremely friendly. Fresh water and coffee available and what food could be served was available in the morning. No complaints here! Would stay again!

We came to the Cranbrook Days Inn as we wanted an easy place to stay during a long drive.

In the room we immediately noticed a dirty bathroom mirror with streaks and water marks on it. Our confidence in how clean the room was became low so we took extra care to not touch surfaces and sanitize our hands often.

As we turned down our bed we noticed a brown stain a few inches across. We removed the bedding with the stain to look closer and noticed another even grosser stain that would have been obvious to anyone cleaning the room before we arrived.

We were grossed out so we called for new bedding and they brought it quickly even though it was late at night.

We hardly slept because of how nasty the unclean bedding was and we figured if they let obvious stains go untreated then they likely weren’t cleaning as much as you would hope.

Two big brown stains on white bedding is unacceptable in most times but during this pandemic it is absolutely disgusting.

Look elsewhere if cleanliness is a priority.

We did not have a good experience at this hotel right from the get-go. The check-in staff was unfriendly. When we checked out the pool it was green which is an indicator of a lack of chlorine , so we did not go swimming.
This hotel accepts pets, however we were told that they only were allowed on the second floor. We were on the first floor and had a dog barking at us from two doors down. Front staff told us that people sneak pets in all the time. If this happens then they need to resolve this issue as me and my family had allergic reactions due to the room not being cleaned properly from dog or cat dander. We tried asked the front staff when we checked out for the manager’s email, and they gave us an email that bounced back. Since then my husband has emailed the hotel and we still have not heard back from them regarding our issues with our stay here. It’s been very disappointing, especially when we’re paying high rates in the summer.

I would never stay here again. We selected this hotel because of the Wyndham name and the price point we felt we would get a mid range quality.
On arrival the room was really cold. When turning up the thermostat chilled air blew out, NO HEAT.
In calling the front desk twice, letting it ring 20 times, no one answered.
I had to go down and wait to be helped then a maintenance man came to the room; upon checking the thermostat said “this is one of the old ones that doesn’t work. You’ll have to get an electric heater from the front desk” !
We tried to book at another hotel, unsuccessfully so had to stay.
I would never stay here again, and now will not stay at any Wyndham hotels.

We asked twice to have a late checkout (Platinum members - Diamond members elsewhere but Wyndham won't match status right now) and were only allowed until 12pm. Housekeeping still knocks on my door at 11:30 am and said was not notified we had late checkout. Asked if I could stay a bit after 12 since waiting for my husband and she said it was not a problem at all. I told her to let me know when she needed to get in the room, I would be ready to go. She did not reappear. Husband ended up being even later then I expected so finally shortly after 1pm I went downstairs and asked at front desk if I could leave my luggage there and go out for a bit until my husband came back since they had said if we stayed after 12 we would be charged for it. Lady at front dest was totally fine with that and said if I came back and my husband was still not there I could just go back to my room and wait there since housecleaning was already gone for the day. What?? Twice I asked and couldn't get past 12pm and now I'm told I can go back in the room if I want to stay longer??

When checking in we asked for an upgrade, but apparently there were none available ... wonder how many times they use that line on members? (Guess there's a reason we don't use Wyndham as often as others) Hotel was overpriced compared to other prices in the area. We choose it thinking it would be a bit bigger, nicer and better then Super 8 down the road, but we should have saved the $25 and gone to Super 8. Lobby is nicely done, big and spacious, nothing like the rooms. The room was tiny and in need of repair. Wallpaper was peeling, mirror is old and had a foggy look even though it was clean, had the ancient old theromostat set to 85F the entire time wit just little bit of heat coming out of noisy fan and the room was still cold, lots of dust on the chair frame.

When we got to our room we were perplexed to find someone busy painting the door of the room we were to stay in. The maintenance guy was super friend and helpful and was able to remove the tape around the edge so we could get in our door and just told us not to touch certain areas while it dried. Why would you rent out a room that is being worked on? Is there no communication on what area is being worked on?

When we got to the room it was freezing. Discovered the thermostat was off. We set the thermostat but it continued to be cold. Finally cranked it to 85F and left it there the entire time and it was still cold in the room. A little bit of heat came out of the noisy fan, enough to take the edge off a bit, but it remained cold. Eventually turned the short on hot for awhile to get some heat and moisture into the room.

In general I'm not super picky and just want a cheap place to crash, but this place had way to many strikes against it. If it had been the cheapest deal in the neighbourhood I would have shrugged it off, but it wasn't. I paid more thinking I'd get better, lesson learned, stick to the cheap deal.

We were overall disappointed with our stay. We started off on the wrong foot because the lobby has several stuffed animal heads hanging on the wall. The lobby furniture was blocked off with what looked like crime-scene tape! We had booked a room with a sofa and king bed, but at check-in requested south view fourth/top floor room and were told we could only have a standard double queen on the third floor. Apparently this was because the king bedded rooms are on north/highway facing, and the rooms on the fourth floor had not been cleaned. It turns out our room had a balcony, and a nice view of the mountain we had come here to hike on. The third floor double queen bedded room we ended up with was clean enough, except for a long dark hair found on the toilet and one in the bed as well. Otherwise, we liked the decor, and the bathrooms appeared to be recently renovated. There were however issues with the room. Firstly, the heating system was very loud (too loud to sleep with), and even though we had cranked it up, the room didn't get to above 18° C. Secondly, we noticed the toilet tissue roll was down to its last few squares, and there was no extra supply in the room. Embarrassingly, we had to call the front desk and they brought some up. Thirdly, the TV had very limited channels. We did appreciate the hot buffet-style breakfast, but it was served in their cavernous, physically and visually cold conference room. In the past we stayed at a major chain hotel two blocks down, and would likely choose that one next time we're through.

We stayed in Days inn Cranbrook on the way to Calgary.
This is centrally located , close to all restaurant and other shopping area.
Very well maintained nice and clean rooms .
Hot and Fresh breakfast includes bacon , sausage and omelette and fruit ,juice , coffee ,tea.
we did not expect such a great breakfast due to COVID -19. my stays in other hotels gave me just one apple and one juice box. nothing else , coffee i had to make in my room in other hotels.
All staff were taking care of all cleaning and sanitizing the table and chairs.

huge parking lot. heated pool . my kids enjoyed lots in pool and we enjoyed bbq in backyard .

Horrible.
We arrived at 130 in the morning. My boyfriend had entered his credit card details online when booking. The person at the front desk told us we had to pay with a different card as they can’t run his card without a signature (but they’ll charge it no problem if we were to not show up for a cancellation fee?). No where when booking did it tell you to bring a different credit card with you even though you are entering your card details on the website. Offered debit- he advised that they don’t usually allow debit, and if they do it needs to be a major bank. Offered a Simplii debit card which he declined (fine, it’s not super popular) then offered an ATB debit card. He says no, it needs to be from a major bank. It’s ATB? This is not a small bank. Offered cash, he told us no. I asked what he would like us to do, we have the money to pay for a room and at this point it’s almost 2am and we are exhausted from almost 8 hours of driving. It’s just me and my sister and we have nowhere else to go. He just shrugged and apologized and sent us away. We had to get back in the car, absolutely exhausted, and drive the rest of the 4.5 hours home. How could you not accommodate us when we’re giving you three different forms of payment? It’s the middle of the night, we should not have been behind the wheel but they gave us no other choice. Absolutely horrible, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
