I was a bit hesitant at first, when I realized the lodge was on main street across from the railway tracks however any concerns I had were misplaced. The lodge has recently been renovated and is clean and quiet. The folks running it are attentive and anxious to ensure they do whatever is possible to provide their guests with a...

What a find... from the great personal service of the personable and cool owner George, to the beautiful rooms and views (see pics attached), to the beautiful knotted wood furniture, very comfy beds and our favourite- the heated bathroom tile floors!- this place is special. There's no way of to recommend the Elizabeth Lake Lodge more highly. Make time to...

I have stayed at this amazing place several times over the past couple of years after hearing what a wonderful place it is. My reservations always need to change and George, the owner...works hard to accommodate those changes. The furniture is comfortable and classy. The beds have lovely comforters and pillows. Very cozy. Bathroom floors and towel racks are heated....

George, Rachel and family live onsite. They really take pride in their hotel, and it shows. From the warm welcome to the comfort of the English Import beds, beautiful murals, and even the stencilled parking lot lines. The smallest details are what makes this a jewel amongst the big chain hotels. Others have commented on the soap, heated bathroom tiles...

We chose to stay here based on the TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. Very friendly and helpful owners. Extremely comfortable beds, immaculately maintained rooms. And the adjacent refuge area for hiking was beautiful. Really a lovely place to stay. We'll definitely look forward to a return visit!

The beds in this hotel are amazing. Had a family member stay there and they said it was one of the best rooms they had ever stayed in. Everything for comfort is thought of in this lodge. The heated floors, marble counter tops, everthing. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Best place to stay in Cranbrook
