I had the pleasure of staying at the Elizabeth Lake Lodge 2 weekends in a row while coming to Cranbrook to watch my son play volleyball at the College. The E.L.L. was recommended to me by friends who also stayed at the suggestion of locals and I was not disappointed at all. I have already pre-booked more weekends in early...

We just needed a place to sleep for two nights while having minor surgery and were delighted with the wonderful, clean room at the Lodge. The heated bathroom floor and heated towel rack were such nice touches as was the special chocolate upon our arrival. There were many charming features at the lodge. We plan to stay there again on...

Wow! I only write reviews of places that wow me and this place in such a non-assuming place, did just that. I was wowed by the customer service provided by George and his son Paul. They are just the epitome of why Canada has the stereotype for having people that are almost too nice. I didn't stay here but just...

I recently stayed here for four nights while in Cranbook on business. What a gem!! The owner provided a mini tour upon arrival and also gave a lovely chocolate upon check in-a very nice touch. The room was CLEAN, beautifully decorated and the bed uber-comfy. There is handmade soap in the bathroom, made by a local company and was very...

I love this private owned lodge. It is just out of town next to a beautiful bird santuatary. The owners Rachel and George are wonderful people who do everything to make your stay great. Last trip they made sure to move a leather lounger chair (that I love and want to take with me everytime) into my room, and this...

This lodge is a bit outside of town but worth making the effort to get here. I stayed here based upon Tripadvisor reviews and I was not disappointed. I was just passing through the area and I wish I had had more time to spend here. The hotel is surprisingly right off of the road with train tracks across the...

We stayed for two nights to do some golfing in the area. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Loved the heated towels and bathroom floor. Kitchen was nice, particularly with the live orchid, and the rooms comfortable and well-furnished. View over the bird sanctuary was fabulous and a quick walk...

I stayed at Elizabeth Lake Lodge while my husband was in the hospital in Cranbrook and felt very comfortable there. It had everything I needed for my 4 day stay. I loved the heated bathroom floor and the live orchid plant was a nice touch. Would love to visit again with my husband.

We were only able to stay one night but wish it could have been longer. The owner went out of his way in every way imaginable to be helpful to us. We didn't arrive until 9:30 PM but he was cheerfully waiting on us and even helped carry our bags into the room and brought us a tea kettle for...

Travelled to Cranbrook on week-end for a 50+ MBSS High School reunion. Stayed at the Elizabeth Lake Lodge and received a dark chocolate stick when I checked in. My room was not ready, as I arrived early but the owner George immediately up-graded and put me to a higher priced room at no cost so that I could freshen up....
