Oceanside quiet community overlooking Baynes Sound provides views of the Salish Sea, the coastal mountains, eagles and often seals & sea lions. Our guests say we make them feel so welcome & right at home. Our rooms have private ensuite washrooms with granite vanities. Enjoy marvelous hot breakfasts we create from as many local ingredients as we can find... These are the kind of breakfast you only allow yourself while on vacation and they are served on handmade pottery by owner/artist. The Pottery studio on site. Free WiFi. Wheelchair friendly with elevator,(but we recommend inquiring with us as to any specific mobility issues and we'll let you know if we can accommodate you). We have a large vegetable garden. LGBTQ are most welcome. Cats/Dogs live here.

Detailed Reviews
I think the title says it all. We were welcomed by Cori with a friendly hello then a much appreciated glass of iced tea and cookies. Our room was very comfortable with a bathroom off of it and the breakfasts are to die for. We found ourselves taking pictures because the presentation is always amazing! This is our second time at Tree Island and we will no doubt be back next year. Maybe this time we will meet Alice. Thank you for welcoming Charlie into your home once again Cori.

Delicious breakfast, wonderful conversation, lots of information about the surrounding area. One can hear sea lions from the front yard at this time of year. Alice is so aware of social issues facing the community and the country and is engaged in creating positive change. Cor is a great potter and a very enthusiastic person. You will enjoy your time with them. Quiet surroundings, near the ocean and also near Courtenay and Comox where there are good restaurants available.

We had a few B&B's over the last years, but the Tree Island B&B is definitiv one of the best we ever had. Cori and Alice gave us a great welcome and we felt more like old friends than like strangers. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast and the cakes are made with so much love - it was delicious. And Cori and Alice were very helpful with where to eat dinner and what to do and see. Thank you. M&CH, Switzerland

This was the second of our stays at Tree Island B&B and like the first visit it was like a loving home coming met with friendly open arms great food and a warm bed. Thanks again Cori & Alice for the suggestive sightseeing tour suggestions and the welcoming committee of Pipen, Coaltrain, Sage, and "Scardy cat" looking forward to returning yet again on our next trip to the Island. (Oh by the way don't spread it around too much or we won't be able to book in again as your B&B, as is your hearts, will always be full)

Cori goes the extra metre in making you feel at ease. The room and ensuite are modern, immaculate, quiet and comfortable. One room has a King bed while ours had a double-size and that worked for us. Breakfast was excellent - big and delicious. Great location if you catching the ferry to Denman/Hornby. And they love music so bring your uke! Thanks.

By fortune we found this place, we stayed for two nights - and then came back after some days on Hornby again.
Here is why:
- Rooms look great, are great, one feels that a lot of care is taken to make one feel cosy.
- Breakfast is the best we had on Vancouver Island within our two month stay.
- Incredible friendly atmosphere. We simply wished to stay longer than we could.
Well, B&B in the house of an artist (beautiful pottery) is something one doesn't forget. There's a kind of spirit which let us relax body and soul, something like that. Prices were fair enough to make us come back, so we did. Gerhard (Austria/Europe)

i just had a delightful stay at the Tree Island Bed and Breakfast. It is difficult to find wheelchair friendly, let alone wheelchair accessible accommodation on the road. Not only could I easily get in to this B&B, the bed was devine and the breakfast delicious! They accommodated my dietary needs with ease. This is a gem!

This was simply planned to be a resting place for us en route to a flight home from Vancouver, but it was a delightful experience to meet Cori and Alice and enjoy their warm hospitality. They are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area (we found we knew several people in common) and take a personal interest in ensuring their guests are comfortable and have what they need. The room we stayed in was pleasant and quiet, with an excellent bed and an en suite bathroom. The house is beautifully decorated with Cori's pottery and other lovely art pieces. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and artfully presented. I will certainly recommend their B&B to friends, and we intend to find our way back there next time we visit the area.

Once in a while you just luck in! Here, we all thought that you would just be staying over the night and passing through while on your travels. After you left, we both just thought... there goes a good friend. The short time that we had with you was heartfelt and genuine and what was interesting was how many points of connection we found with each other. I hope the song I sent to you comes in handy. We know we will see you again. Whenever that may be. Take very good care, Cori and Alice Tree Island Bed and Breakfast.

Went for the famed breakfast but we were truly overwhelmed with the generosity of Cori and Alice. They are superb hosts who are genuinely interested in their guests and in their guests' well-being.
Kudos to you both for all that you do and how well you do it. We'll be recommending your special flavor of hospitality to our family and friends.
PS You can also count on some great conversation!

What a delight you both were. We haven't had all the musical instruments out in a long time and it was lovely to be able to play music together and enjoy such wonderful conversation. We look forward to having you stay with us at Tree Island Bed and Breakfast when next you are visiting the Comox Valley. Let us know how your lunch tart turns out - So glad you enjoyed your breakfasts here!!!! We love preparing them. Cori and Alice Tree Island Bed and Breakfast

We had a friend reunion close to this B&B and chose this B&B for that reason. Of course it helped it had a good review from previous patrons. We arrived to a warm welcome complete with a cold drink and home baked goodies. Our room was very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming host who was more than happy to accommodate our needs. I can't say enough about the breakfast both days we were there. We were consulted about the menu on arrival and all I could do was drool. It sounded wonderful and both breakfasts were fabulous. Some of the ingredients were picked moments before they were served. We were the envy of those who were camping at the reunion. The pottery (made on site) was beautiful. I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in the Courtenay area.

It was lovely having you join the now growing list of happy guests at Tree Island Bed and Breakfast. Having a dog come and visit was a first, and Charlie was a perfect guest. I am so delighted that you enjoyed your breakfasts - I do love making a bit of a fuss about the most important meal of the day - as you were witness to. We appreciate all your comments and hope that the next time you come to stay with us, you'll be even more delighted!

"If you are one to sleep in, our room wouldn't be for you. It is bright with the morning sun and, if someone is walking around upstairs, you hear it well in the room we were in. Neither was an issue with us as we are early risers but I thought it might be worth mentioning. We didn't check out the other room. We were in the room at the front of the house (with the ensuite)."Read full review
