Very centrally located & close to the highway. Freshly renovated rooms and a very fresh look!! Simple breakfast but did the trick :) Very friendly and accommodating staff. Can't wait to see the final details of the renovations on our next trip through.

I wasn’t expecting much based on the very inexpensive price of the room but was really surprised at how great this place is with the new owners going above and beyond to accommodate my kids and I. The room was huge and clean. Beds were so comfortable I had the best sleep I’ve

Our annual fall trip through the area and found the Fireside hotel. The rooms were large, clean and the bed was comfy. Good breakfast included and staff very friendly. Good location with a nice restaurant right at the hotel. I would stay here again.

We arrived Sunday night late. Greeted by a nice clerk. 3 days into our stay trouble started. Didn't like our parking because of boat. As well all of a sudden our dogs which we paid $30.00 extra per day in a room that was out dated but that's ok we thought until we were charged

Glad to hear you found our front desk staff was nice. We are working on updating the property and have already added very nice top sheets to the beds. For future guests, information pets are welcome and the fee is $15/pet/night and we request that pets are not allowed to sleep on the new bedding. We provide a written policy outlining this and you did get a chance to sign to acknowledge this at check-in. However, you advised us that you didn't read the policy. We provided different blankets when we realized the very large dogs were sleeping on the bedding. We understand that pets are an extension of families and I would recommend asking for a different blanket if you do not travel with pet beds or blankets yourself and if it not possible to keep them off the beds. After this we let you know that we'd do our very best to get the stains out of the top sheets. After soaking them and washing them 3x during the night we were only able to save one. The other one will donate to goodwill. We request that over-sized vehicles and vehicles in tow can be parked in over-sized designated parking area provided. Staff should have let you know this when you checked in. Parking a 50 ft combined vehicle and boat in front of the restaurant were in a no parking zone. We will advise staff to be sure future guests are aware of this.
