looks like this hotel is trying to upgrade to a new contemporary aesthetic but they don't quite have it together. no carpeting so grit from outside is tracked into the room. towels from previous guest left behind. best western complimentary breakfast is not wholesome. only the coffee is warm.

Hi Phyllis, Thank you for your review. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. I would like to take this opportunity and share with you that when we renovated our property our previous guests suggested us to put hardwood flooring than carpet. And a lot of our customers like our property because of hardwood flooring. We do have rooms with carpet on the second floor, if we knew that you were not happy on the main floor we would have upgraded you in a room with carpet. Also, we only offer complimentary breakfast as shown on our website where you booked through. It is a continental breakfast, unfortunately we do not offer a full breakfast. Please accept my apologies that we didn't meet your expectations. Thank you Management

We enjoyed our stay at this newly renovated hotel - the suite was nicely decorated - the bed was very comfy with nice linens. The bathroom had a lighted mirror which was great and the room was super clean. Friendly staff and breakfast included made our stay complete. Castlegar has a really nice sculpture walk which we also really enjoyed.

Great place to stay and the staff are awesome. They are willing to accommodate all your need as long with in their ability. The location is great and walking distance from restaurants and shop. The price of the room is great.

We loved it here! We stayed as we were just travelling through! The lady at the front desk was super kind and personable! The rooms were super clean, and updated. The beds were extremely comfy. If we ever travel through again, I would 100% stay here again. The location is perfect as the gas station and road out is right beside it. I felt safe and could park right close to where your room is located!

Great accommodations up to "full" Best Western standards of room facility. Good price point. King Bed was very comfortable, great flat screen TV and internet connection was fast and stable. The hotel was busy (based on parking lot ) but room was quiet.

Was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the rooms were for the price compared to others in town, rooms were clean, modern and cozy and LARGE. you won't be sad staying here one bit, for just over 100 bucks I got a huge king bed, fridge, microwave, coffee and a great big clear TV and great channels.

Did not like the fact that reception chose not to wear a mask and rooms were dirty with hair on blankets. Wifi wouldn’t hook up and heater worked poorly. This was our first and definitely our last stay at this hotel.

My stay was very nice. The hotel is now back under the BW Banner. It was a very long time ago when it was first built. I am glad it is now relisted. All staff were very kind & sweet. Breakfast was fresh. The property was clean, quite & well looked after. I had a good restful sleep & a great shower. Thank you.
