This was our second visit to Kootenay River RV Park and I didn't think it would be possible for this place to improve...but it did! Beautifully landscaped, friendly and helpful staff. Washrooms were immaculate and the WIFI was as promised reached our site with no problem. Any time we are in the Kootenays this is were we will be staying.

Stunning park extremely welcoming staff. They spend a fortune on making the park just that! A park lawns and gardens beyond any rv park we have stayed in. Easy check in , they walk to your site and set you up and check back to make sure everything is good. Right on the river great views and beautiful all around. Very cool picnic tables , converts to benches. These people care. The rules are strict about putting carpets or campfires on the lawns but it shows . One of our favourite places to stay. Unfortunately due to the popularity of this place we couldn’t extend our stay. Will be back.

This Is the second visit here for us. If you wish to camp in a botanical garden, this is it! Clean, flower filled, manicured sites, among the trees. When arriving at the park, we were greeted by an enthusiastic, smiling host who quickly registered us and lead us to our site overlooking the river. We were able to sit in the shade of pine and maple trees while reading or viewing the sunset.

This quiet adult only RV park is beautiful. Lots of flowers, shrubs and trees. Bathrooms immaculate and the wifi excellent. The owner and staff are very friendly. Castlegar and surrounding area has lots to see and do. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Based on a previous recommendation we stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. This adult oriented park has a number of rules about noise, etc that may seem restrictive to some, but we loved it. It was very quiet and exceedingly well kept. Staff were always super friendly and were always out and about prepping sites between visitors, mowing and watering lawns, and generally keeping an eye on things. We had a great visit and would happily stay here again.

My husband & I just spent a lovely relaxing week in our 5th Wheel at this very quiet adult RV park ... exactly what we were looking for! Our site was fully grassed which kept everything nice & clean. The park grounds are immaculate ... maintained daily by the super friendly staff. To top it off, the WiFi is excellent! If the weather stays nice in late September, we may just spend another week there before it's time to put the RV away for the winter.

We could only get one night here which was too bad as the grounds are immaculate and fishing was 50 yards from our site. The sites are a little tight but we met some lovely people staying next to us. The staff and all the long stay people were very friendly. We are pleased the campground has strict rules and enforces them.

Stayed at the park for two nights . Was amazed by the beauty of the grounds . The work and effort put in to maintain was extensive . The washrooms were beyond clean and the shower was spotless and great hot water . The sewer caps kept the sewer smell away . We sat outside most of our time and was so nice to be able to smell all the flowers around the mature trees. There was great spacing between units. The employees were friendly and more than helpful for everything we asked for . We are so impressed we plan to spend a week there next year . Well done ladies !

The grounds of this park are manicured and the bathrooms are imacculate. The owner was very friendly and helped us find good restaurants and things to see. Sites on the river R1 to R6 are really nice with lots of room and a great view of the river. Management strictly enforces the 1pm check-in so be prepared to wait if you arrive early.

We called the morning of our arrival & reserved a site for 2 nights. When we arrived we were placed on a soggy lawn & told that our tow vehicle would have to be moved to a parking lot. We paid for 1 night & said we were going out to see the sights & asked if was ok to pay for our second night when we came back & were told that wasn't a problem. When we arrived back early afternoon we were told that our site had been double booked while we were away. There was no apology & no suggestions on how to solve the problem, All in all a very bad experience.
