I stayed here with a friends in April while travelling the island and really want to give a mention for our great stay here. Doug and Dawn (double D) were so friendly that it started our stay off on such a high note. The friendliness and genuine care they expressed went beyond customer service to a level of caring that felt like family. A huge thank you for their kindness. That alone ensures that I will be be looking to stay here again when I am needing a place in town.
To give a fair review of the room too, it was a comfortable night and everything we needed was provided for. I don't have any negative points to add and the room was all I expected from a night stay passing thru town.

Stay here occasionally for work. The place suits the bill. Comfortable bed, quiet, wireless internet, easy access. Have had no issues staying here over the years. Includes free breakfast at ricky's which is nice.

Stayed for just one night, the room was spacious, clean. Just what we needed after a day driving. The motel is close to the marina which is why we choose it before setting off on a boat trip the following day.

Humble but clean budget hotel close to necessary amenities along a very busy road with a sidewalk 3 feet away so leaving window open not an option despite hot weather. No breakfast and no vouchers. Parking lot is enclosed. Due to the heat, many people sat at their door outside and unfortunately smoked. If I was going to do it again, I’d spend the extra bucks and get A/C. It was a tortuous few days.

This is a great, clean central place to stay in Campbell River. We made this our home for 3 days and did all of our bike day trips from here. You can walk to anything you need,the mall down, restaurants or take a stroll along the ocean walkway. The parking lot is fully enclosed from the public, 1 way in, 1 way out so we felt very comfortable with the security for our bikes.

I reserved a room with kitchen at an agreed price, but when I showed up, they claimed the the price they had quoted me didn't included a kitchen, and added charges.
The first night we were disturbed by a women screaming hysterically because there was a rat in her room.
The next night when the room next to me had a party late into the night, I called the desk and the manager told me he would "take care of it right away". When nothing was done I called the desk again, but the manager wouldn't answer the phone, and the party continued into the early hours of the morning.
Avoid this dump at all costs.

The place is like sleeping on the street. People sit outside their rooms with doors open drinking and talking loudly with no involvement from management to enforce privacy. I'm writing this at 1130 pm with no sleep in sight. A terrible and horrible place.

Stayed for two nights Easter long weekend with my 10lb maltese hypoallergenic dog. And my mom. The towels are like rags, and have stains on them. Booked a two double bed room, but nowhere on the website did it say pet rooms available only in 1 queen size bed rooms. So we had to switch over from 2 double beds to 1 queen. Asked for a cot but was treated like I asked him to cut off his arm and got a speech on how cots are illegal and are a fire hazard ect. And was drilled about having my dog over at my uncle's room for 2 minutes.(again a 10lb hypoallergenic dog) he acted as if I had taken in a 150lb Rottweiler and let him rub his body all over the room. I get why they have pet rooms incase people are allergic....but he didn't have to be so rude!! I was simply over there for minutes. He was super rude about it. People coming and going all hours of the night, woken up numerous times. One of the guys at front desk is super friendly though. We asked for a microwave and he brought one right over. But unfortunately the other guy ruined it for me staying here ever again.

Man at front desk friendly. Rooms average. Loud drunks hanging around outside room until about 4am. Couldn't sleep and nobody available at front office to help. Would not recommend this motel. Not a safe feeling at night.

I stayed at this motel for 3 nights while I was in Campbell River to go bear watching (although I didn't ever see any!). There isn't much to do in Campbell River so the motel is located in a good location near to the harbour, near shops and the bus station.
The couple that run the motel were very friendly and helpful with info on what to do. The room was a decent size and had a fridge, tv, telephone, hairdryer and private bathroom. The bed was really comfy :) The room was very clean although 2 dirty towels had been left on the back of the bathroom door. However new towels had been put in the bathroom.
This is especially good if you are driving as there is parking avaliable. There are no catering facilities onsite but you are given a voucher for a free breakfast at a nearby diner and the breakfast was pretty good.
