We stayed with Lorrie at Money Pennies for two nights. Everything was just as advertised. However, the welcome was exceptional. Lorrie has a lovely home and garden. There is a deck in the garden, which we were welcome to use and it was a real haven to sit and relax there after a busy day sightseeing. Lorrie was full of tips of things we might want to see, including on our onward journey from Campbell River. This also included things we shouldn't miss and places to get a good meal or drink. Additionally, whilst most accommodations consider allergies, Lorrie also enquired about food dislikes etc. Breakfasts were delicious. The location is ideal and you can easily walk to Downtown Campbell River. The property is set on a hill, so there is a climb back up, but it is easily manageable. However, if you prefer to drive, there seemed to be plenty of parking downtown. I would have no problem in recommending Money Pennies and if we are ever back in Campbell River, Lorrie would be our first port of call. I feel we arrived as guests and left as friends. Money Pennies is located on the little hill just above downtown so access to shops and restaurants is easy. The Ocean room was well sized, very comfortable and well equipped. The bedding (mattress and pillows) was very comfortable and the towels of very good quality. Wifi was efficient. We have also appreciated the patio on which we could read after dinner. Lorrie, our host, cooked us three different nice breakfasts on the three mornings we spent there while taking into account our dietary restrictions.

It was charming, beautiful harbor view, peaceful, restful(the bed was excellent) and very comfortable. The host Laurie is at accommodating as any host could be. You'll truly feel like a guest in their home, not just another customer.

Stayed 1 night on our way to catch the ferry. The host is wonderful and makes you feel instantly at home. Clean and tidy and many extras in the rooms not normally found in a B&B. Lorrie the host has amazing stories to tell.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely B and B for 2 nights. Unfortunately we had to depart early both days to catch a grizzly tour and our ferry to the mainland. We told Lorrie, our wonderful host, not to worry about making breakfast but she insisted. So she sent us on our way the first morning at 4 am with blueberry pancakes and the next morning at 6 am with breakfast sandwiches. All was delicious! We couldn't have asked for a more lovely visit.

Modern, clean, friendly. My room had a huge, white sleigh bed, fresh paint, TV, a Keurig coffee maker, and good lighting. The whole house was neat as a pin, with gorgeous hardwood floors + stairs. Attention has been paid to every detail. Lots of wow-factor here!

Oh my god where to begin. From the moment that we arrived we were made to feel part of an extended family rather than a paying guest. The Owners (Lori and Michelle) do everything in their power to ensure your time spent with them is perfect. Breakfast was offered at a time that suited you rather than being told to be seated at a certain time and different items offered daily (a great start to your day). The property is located within a few minutes of the town centre so there is no need to drive everyday. The property has a wonderful garden seating area that is perfect for summer evenings. The bedrooms are of an excellent size with plenty of space for your luggage and to relax should you wish. I could go on and on about how fabulous this place is but the icing on the cake was when Lori & Michelle both got up to make a takeaway breakfast for 04:30am and bid us farewell after our stay. This place is just amazing! Michele and Lorrie were just perfect and so nice! We totally loved it here. It is super clean and the room is adorable. The breakfast is AMAZING! We would love to stay here again and can definitely recommend it to everyone.
