It was charming, beautiful harbor view, peaceful, restful(the bed was excellent) and very comfortable. The host Laurie is at accommodating as any host could be. You'll truly feel like a guest in their home, not just another customer.

We stayed with Lorrie at Money Pennies for two nights. Everything was just as advertised. However, the welcome was exceptional. Lorrie has a lovely home and garden. There is a deck in the garden, which we were welcome to use and it was a real haven to sit and relax there after a busy day sightseeing. Lorrie was full of tips of things we might want to see, including on our onward journey from Campbell River. This also included things we shouldn't miss and places to get a good meal or drink. Additionally, whilst most accommodations consider allergies, Lorrie also enquired about food dislikes etc. Breakfasts were delicious. The location is ideal and you can easily walk to Downtown Campbell River. The property is set on a hill, so there is a climb back up, but it is easily manageable. However, if you prefer to drive, there seemed to be plenty of parking downtown. I would have no problem in recommending Money Pennies and if we are ever back in Campbell River, Lorrie would be our first port of call. I feel we arrived as guests and left as friends. This easy to find B&B in the edge of town above the harbour area, was not a disappointment. The host Lorrie was excellent and the breakfasts were equally good.
The room was lovely, the bedding luxurious, and comfortable.
The difference between a hotel and good a B&B certainly was clear. No contest, the B&B wins hands down! The host helped with our long overdue washing and her suggestions for places to eat, were spot on.
Thoroughly recommended if you're visiting this lovely town.

I had the privilege of staying with Lorrie on either end of my trip with Grey Wolf Expeditions. Wow, what a great experience I had in her lovely home! I stayed in both rooms they are well appointed, with lovely bathrooms, comfy beds and robes!! Her house has a view of the river. After a delicious pancake breakfast, I wrapped up on her back patio and enjoyed her garden while I journaled. I loved meeting her guests who were also enjoying their stay at Money Pennies. I learned about Squamish and even went to an event held in Campbell river. She recommended wonderful restaurants. Her omelettes are incredible! I felt like I was at a long term friends’ house! She shared an incredible life’s journey and is equally interested in her guests! It was an exceptional experience! I will hopefully see her again soon!

Lorrie and Michele run a top class b&b. Our room was well appointed with everything we needed including a superb view over sea and mountains from our bed. Breakfast on both mornings was freshly made and delicious. We arrived by bus in Campbell River. Lorrie offered to meet us at the bus station. Offer was gratefully received. Each evening we walked in to town to eat. Downhill there and uphill on the way back. Make sure you have a map to plan optimum route. Great people - great place.

Nice B&B not too far from the town centre with welcoming hosts. The room was large. Didn't bother me but there isn't a proper door between the main bedroom and the bathroom, just a wooden screen. Breakfast was good, would return.

We stayed at this place for one night. The reception was friendly, but not so personal as we han in other b&b s. Up the steap stairs. But not too high, and into a nice room. It had all we needed but without a wow feeling. Michelle gave us a restaurant tip which turned out yo be vrry good. The next morning we had breakfast with our two hostesses and the two nice dogs. We would have loved a toast, but apart from that breakfast was good. The very nice hug when we left was a lot more personal than our arrival. A vety good place to spend the night

Oh my god where to begin. From the moment that we arrived we were made to feel part of an extended family rather than a paying guest. The Owners (Lori and Michelle) do everything in their power to ensure your time spent with them is perfect. Breakfast was offered at a time that suited you rather than being told to be seated at a certain time and different items offered daily (a great start to your day). The property is located within a few minutes of the town centre so there is no need to drive everyday. The property has a wonderful garden seating area that is perfect for summer evenings. The bedrooms are of an excellent size with plenty of space for your luggage and to relax should you wish. I could go on and on about how fabulous this place is but the icing on the cake was when Lori & Michelle both got up to make a takeaway breakfast for 04:30am and bid us farewell after our stay. Friendly welcome from both the hosts themselves and their dogs. Lots of helpful tips on what to see and do during my brief stay.
Room was spacious, with tv, hot drinks facilities and fridge. The dramatic views down over the town and out across the water were icing on the cake.
Breakfast was cooked to order with plenty of good coffee on hand.

We stayed for three nights in this B&B. Our room was quite big, very comfortable and - because of lots of windows with great views - light and friendly. There is a good choice of toiletries in the bathroom. Furthermore there is a nice sitting area outside!
The hosts (and their two cute dogs) are really friendly and helpful and breaktfasts were great. Each day a different main, in addition to fruit and yoghurt.
